Description
1. Disconnect the 3 rearmost exhaust hangers, lower the exhaust and support it. 2. Remove and discard the rear towing eye and any existing bolts from the rear end of the chassis (except the rear most bolts holding bumper support bracket). Remove tape covering mounting points. 3. Loosely attach angles AN to chassis rails using set screws A with washers WA. 4. Loosely attach left and right side plates LP and RP to the chassis rails using set screws A with washers WA. 5. Loosely attach side plates LP andRP to angles AN using set screws B with washers WB. 6. Loosely attach crossbar CB to side plates LP and RP using nuts NT and washers WB. 7. Loosely attach flange neck F to crossbar CB using bolts C. 8. Attach a type approved towball (not supplied) using set screws D. 9. Check and tighten all fasteners using a calibrated torque tool to the specified torque settings recommended on the towbar drawing and reattach exhaust.
