#CoupleGoals Nothing melts our hearts more than a hopelessly in love celebrity couple. By Cebokazi Sotobe

Connie and Shona Ferguson, dubbed the queen and king of SA television, have been married for over 15 years and own a successful production company, Ferguson Films. They have brought us shows such as Rockville, Igazi, The Queen and The Imposter. Not only do they dominate behind the scenes, they sizzle in front of the camera too. Both star in Mzansi Magic’s telenovela The Queen; Connie plays Harriet the conniving businesswoman and Shona portrays Jerry Maake, a no-nonsense cop that fans refer to as ‘Robocop’. We also love them for the way they show their undying love for each other on social media. They’re simply adorable!

Actress Dineo Moeketsi and her rapper beau Solo recently won ‘Most Stylish Couple’ at the South African Style Awards, which was held in November last year. The pair first sparked dating rumours back in 2015, when Dineo tweeted a sweet birthday message to the rapper – that sent social media into a frenzy! The pair has, in fact, been going strong for over four years now. We love them for their to-die-for fashion sense. They give real meaning to the phrase: ‘a couple who slays together, stays together.’

Bonang Matheba and Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes. Although it’s not clear when the couple officially started dating, the two started popping up at events and places together early in 2016. The television presenter, businesswoman and author has been going steady with her award-winning rapper boyfriend since then. We love them because they are each other’s cheerleader; Bonang made a cameo on the Supa Mega’s music video for ‘The World is Yours’, which was shot in Thailand. They also shared a glimpse of their relationship on Being Bonang, a reality TV show that aired in July last year. Whether it’s jetting off to Paris or sitting front row at SA Fashion Week, these two know how to mix business and pleasure.

Actress Thishiwe Ziqubu, who plays twins Matshepo and Mantwa on The Queen, and her partner Mandisa Nduna, actress from the She is King movie, were crowned ‘Cutest Couple’ at the Feather Awards last year November. The duo quickly become one of the hottest couples in SA and have unintentionally become flag-bearers for the LGBTIQ community. In a recent interview, the couple appeared on Tumi Morake’s show #WTFTumi and talked about their relationship; specifically about how they never felt the pressure to come out and explain their relationship to the people close to them. We love them because they continue to embrace their sexuality and live their lives on their own terms.

Lalla Hirayama and Kent Henderson are the newest addition to Mzansi’s couple goals. The TV presenter and Touch HD DJ kept her new love under wraps for a while but made it Instagram-official when she posted her new bae for #ManCrushMonday in July last year. Kent could easily pass off as a model – check out his Instagram account – but he’s actually a brand marketing manager for Open Food. We love them because they are #fitnessgoals and are absolutely smitten with one another.
The primary school teacher turned actress Linda Mtoba is popularly known for portraying Zama ‘Cakes’ Ngwenya on the hit drama Isibaya. She married her boyfriend of six years in February last year. The young actress doesn’t reveal his name because she declares that she needs to respect the fact that he’s not the one in the entertainment industry. Since being married, she has embraced being a wife with social media appointing her the unofficial marriage ambassador because of her ‘Mrs Husband’ posts on her various social media pages. Although we never get to see her husband’s face in her pics, we love how he plays the role of photographer – as most of her pics on Instagram are clearly taken by him and carry his unique hashtag: #stillsbyhubby.
