We proudly initiate the 2021 Ladies of the Lone Star with a key breeding piece that is straight from the heart of our program. It has been our full intent since the very beginning to offer females that have the chance to make a positive impact in any program. To say the decision to offer OBCC Lola 137Z is not difficult would simply not be truthful... in fact it hurts to let a female of her stature go. OBCC Lola 137Z was first selected by Circle M Farms from the Owen Brothers Cattle Company program of Missouri as a fall open heifer calf with great promise. 137Z was dominantly campaigned by Tanner Howey to countless victories that include being selected as the 2013 AJSA South Central Regional Champion Owned Percentage Female, 2013 Sweepstakes Reserve Grand Champion Percentage Female, 2014 NWSS Division Champion, and 2014 AJSA National Classic Grand Champion Percentage Female. Fast forward to August of 2017 when we had the opportunity to acquire this breed leading female in the historic Circle M Farms dispersal. We decided we were not leaving without her... many would argue that this is one of the most impressive mature SimAngus females that they have ever laid their eyes on.
