Aaliyah’s Grandmother Janice is a joyful soul, with stories to tell and love to bestow. Grandmother Janice always had a twinkle in her eye, which made Aaliyah’s world truly fly.

In her cozy home, with painted rose-colored hues, Aaliyah and her family had nothing to lose. They danced and they laughed, oh, what a sight, their happiness soaring like a kite taking flight But one day, a special surprise came their way, Aaliyah’s parents had news to convey. “Oh, baby, go baby!” they exclaimed with glee, “We are moving to a new home for our family!”

Aaliyah’s heart fluttered with excitement galore, a new room to love, a new room to explore! She imagined the adventures with her new found space, the laughter she would share, and the bond that would grow, beyond compare.

Grandmother Janice joined the cheer, welcoming Aaliyah’s excitement with love and sincerity. They painted the nursery in colors so bright, with pictures of sweet roses, a sweet, dreamy sight. As the days passed by, anticipation did grow, Aaliyah’s patience tested, oh, so slow! But finally, the day arrived, a moment so grand, the arrival of moving day, like magic in the land.

Little Aaliyah, embraced her new home with care, her tiny fingers intertwined, a love affair with Mommy and Daddy, the family was complete, her heart was filled with joy, oh, what a treat!

Together they danced, a family so dear, singing lullabies, calming any fear. Oh, baby go baby, a bond forever strong, Aaliyah’s heart bursting with a joyful song.

In the land of Dr. Seuss, where whimsy resides, Aaliyah’s story of love and family abides. With her family so true, their love blossomed, like new roses opening in the morning dew.

So, if you ever wander in this magical place, remember Aaliyah and her sweet embrace. For in the land of Dr. Seuss, dreams come alive, Love and Family, forever will thrive.

Our darling, Aaliyah

It’s been two weeks since you left us, and not a single day has passed without us thinking of you. You were the light of our lives. We miss you more than words can express, and our hearts ache that we won’t get to watch you grow up. You brought so much joy to our lives during the short time you were with us. Your laughter was infectious, and your smile lit up the room. We loved watching you explore, seeing things through your innocent eyes.

We wish we could have had more time with you, to see you grow up and become the amazing person we know you would have been. We will never forget the memories we made with you, from the first time we held you in our arms to the last time we said goodbye.

We will cherish the time we had with you forever, and we will never forget the love you brought into our lives. You were and always will be our precious daughter, and we will love you always and forever.

Acknowledgements

Perhaps you sent a lovely card, or sat quietly in a chair. Perhaps you sent those beautiful flowers, that we saw sitting there. Perhaps you spoke the kindest words, as any friend could say. Perhaps you were not there at all, just thought of us that day. Whatever you did to console our hearts we thank you so much for whatever part.

Every deed of kindness is a source of comfort and we are eternally grateful. Please continue to pray for us as we journey on without our beloved Aaliyah.
