Last month we ran our second annual 100km in May challenge, and we want to say a huge thank you for your efforts!

Our fantastic supporters took on the challenge of covering 100km in 31 days to raise money to support the fight for trade justice. Supported by their friends and family, the enthusiasm and hard work of all our challengers proved the power of people joining together. We will be back in next month's Bulletin to tell you the grand total, once we have counted it up!

Change that lasts beyond one crisis...

Thank you for your incredible support of your Small Farm Strong Business Appeal this Spring.

We didn't know when we launched the appeal that a war would break out in Ukraine. We didn't know that millions would be forced to flee and that one of the world's biggest producers of grain would all but stop production. But it has highlighted just how vital our work with small-scale farmers is.

More than ever, as prices soar and global supply chains suffer, small-scale farmers need the support to grow more, sell more and get locally grown, affordable food into disadvantaged communities.

Together, working with communities over the long term and fighting for lasting change to the broken global trade system underlies everything we do.

We couldn't invest in long term change without the commitment of supporters like you. We know from working together for more than 35 years, creating a world where all trade is fair, means planning for the future so we can keep challenging injustice step by step.

Many supporters chose to continue this commitment beyond their own lifetime and consider leaving a gift in their will. These kind gifts are such a vital investment in our future plans, and one anyone can make, which will help others for years to come.

If you are curious about what it means to leave a gift in your will: and the right time for you, Heather Thompson, our Supporter Relationship Manager, would be very happy to have a cuppa and a chat.
