TRAIL BLAZERS GAME PROGRAM • BLAZERDANCER FEATURE
KIMBY YEARS AS A BLAZERDANCER: 0
WHAT INSPIRES YOU TO DANCE? My favorite part about dancing is performing and knowing that I get to bring joy to people by doing what I love. WHAT ARE SOME LITTLE-KNOWN FACTS ABOUT YOURSELF YOU WANT OTHERS TO KNOW?
IF YOU COULD GIVE ADVICE TO ASPIRING YOUNG DANCERS, WHAT WOULD YOU TELL THEM? The most important thing about dance is to have fun and love what you’re doing. Nothing is more entertaining to watch than a dancer who is genuinely having fun performing.
I originally moved to Oregon from California to attend the University of Oregon, and was lucky enough to spend three years cheering for the Ducks. Another fun fact is that I grew up dancing with my older sister and now we both dance for professional teams. Go Blazers and Seahawks! WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR MOST MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE AS A BLAZERDANCER? As a rookie I’m still experiencing a lot of firsts, but my first game was one to remember. Stepping out on the court and performing for all the Blazers fans was an amazing feeling I’ll never forget. WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES? I enjoy going outdoors, whether to go on hikes or just explore my new city. I love to find new places to eat and things to do with my friends.
