HIGHPARK SEASONS My main responsibilities were reading the landscape plan and use those information to illustrate a range of planting combinations for different seasons. At times, some plants had to be modeled up from scratch with different programs since It is not readily available. The plants are also varied for a more natural look. Client: Three Sixty Property group Architect : Rothelowman Landscape architect : TRACT consultants Scene making : 3Ds Max Render : Corona render Color and grading : Photoshop
NOTES : The planting differentiation is based on how the plants behave in different seasons: For example: The Eucalyptus pauciflora ‘Little snowman’ is evergreen but sustain a little bit of cold damage in winter so the foliage is thinner with grayish look.
Follow this link to view the project’s landing page: https://www.highparkseasons.com.au/ Or view finished renders in video here
IVANHOE GARDENS The main focus in this project is to get the right look and feel to enhance the visual experience of the gardens situated inside apartment buildings, There are 23 species layering and organizing in an orderly fashion with the key species like Weeping lily Pilly and Dwarf River Wattle. Client: Blue Earth Group Landscape architect : Jack Merlo Scene making : Rhino + 3ds max Render : Corona render Color and grading : Photoshop
— RENOWNED FOR HIS IMPECCABLE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE AND COLLABORATIVE APPROACH, JACK MERLO AND HIS TEAM ELEVATE OUTDOOR SPACES THROUGH PRINCIPLES O F B E AU T Y, HARMONY AND S U S TA I N A B I L I T Y.
Jack Merlo leads Australia’s premier landscape architecture studio. Each project receives his personal attention, from the initial client brief to the final contract documentation.
JANE STREET WEST END The most complex planting and landscape design scheme yet ! The choice of plants are almost similar to the ungrowth of native NSW tropical forests with the widest range of planting on the rooftop. Here, at the expense of many days working with planting, final results are spectacular eye-feasting visual image of what would be the up and coming property. Client: Aria group Architect : Rothelowman Landscape architect : RPS group Scene making : Rhino + 3ds max Render : Corona render Color and grading : Photoshop

VINH TAN THERMAL POWER PLANT
FOREST ARCADE LIVING INFRASRUCTURE Induced demand : cities with higher congestion use less fuel per capita, while cities with the least congestion use the most fuel, fuel that we can not afford in the year of 2050. And with less than 7% of the CBD North area is covered by tree canopy, the city will be crushed by the traffic as well as social health concerns.
18
FOREST ARCADE STRUCTURE Living infrastructure will be linked with socio-spatial arrangements by being modular, integrated, multi-functional and connected on a new reconfigured road space that provide needed public day-rooms. This is done on the basic concept of prospect and refuge : ideal habitat for human activities
MODULAR INTEGRATIONS
Roof climbers
Using modular platform to inhabit plants and human, and also create opportunities for plays and art . Interaction comes from the abilities for sensorial experience . M_SEATS

About My wáť?ork until now has been seeking to reflect a deep apreciation for interactivity and liveability. I believe that our landscape is a product of our thoughts and our actions toward what we call nature. And by crafting those interactions of thoughts and actions, we illustrate our process of creating a liveable landscape. Here are extracts from my proposals for the studios.

type 3: residential house + minor shop houses 1-3 floors, family oriented, rarely for rent, 1st floors usually the living rooms and kitchen combined, box house , convenience stores, small cafe, minimum or no sidewalks. street is the sidewalk, people living with close proximity with the traffic
type 2 : street shops house Minimum living space, 2-5 floors, family oriented, 1st floors usually for commercial activities, other floors for living and renting. Minimum public space, the front of the house usually for parking and shop’s activities. box house
type 4 : alley house : 1-3 floors. family oriented, occasional shops, the street is the public space, low level traffic, mostly motorbikes, playground for kids and dwellers, front gardens
WIND EFFECTS ON THE NEW NEIGHBORHOOD How do you create desired path of wind through a neighborhood or blocks of houses ? How do you maximize numbers of inlets as well as outlets of air into the neighborhood ? We created a new pathway to change the chracteristic of the wind , by letting the wind come in through bigger openning, the wind accelerates through the middle part of the neighborhood.
Climbing wind reducing air pressure on street level environment
Soft rising form lead the wind upward rather than trapping it on street level
Houses with bigger mass will have a leaning shape to direct the wind into the house, then when needed, push down to street level
22
Wind coming through smaller opening will reduce the effect of prevailing speed
Funnel wind effect accelerate the wind to ventilate the connecting street then divert to surrounding alley
Staggered form create more space for air to enter the house compare to the form that perdincular to the wind direction
FUNCTIONAL W I N D - F R I E N D LY NEIGHBORHOOD By changing the shapes and forms of the houses and neighborhood configuration, we altered the wind direction as well as characteristic of which cool down or ventilate the site that is exposed to the sun. In this example, the neighborhood of Hoang Sa street that face the Nhieu Loc Canal would have a better ventilation due to the shape of building keep the wind flowing smoothly and desirably.

This shade has a niche characteristic of a psuedo existence, we would never see this in the real!!
What are we gathering here for again?
Woow, such marvelous work of art shit. Why do they even consider building this piece of garbage ?
I’m falling !!!!!
I’m real !!! If i do this, it will look like the installation is working perfectly, just like it’s intended.
What a weird day !!
