• Keep the sharpener in a vertical position, away from your body. • Run the knife downward along the sharpener, alternating the two faces of the blade in an angle approximately 20°. • Place the sharpener in a diagonal position. The knife’s tip should point upwards. At an approximate 20° angle, press the knife lightly on the sharpener, moving it from the handle to the blade’s end, alternating its two faces of the blade.
