Indiana's Art Heritage
Contributed by Lisa Morrison & Diane Moore
Art is flourishing in Indiana Near the turn of the 19th Century, fine artists from across the Midwest and beyond began to migrate to an unlikely locale—the remote hill country of Southern Indiana. T.C. Steele, the renowned Hoosier Group painter, was among the first to settle in Brown County where he built his home and studio—House of the Singing Winds—on a hilltop a few miles southwest of the sleepy town of Nashville, the county seat. Other artists followed into the early years of the 20th Century, including Dale Bessire, Georges LaChance, Currie Bohm, Carl Graf, Genevieve Goth Graf, Marie Goth and V.J. Cariani.
traveliN holiday issue 2011
Over the ensuing years, through the efforts of the Brown County Art Guild and Brown County Art Gallery, the works of these and other early art colonists have been preserved and immortalized. The Art Colony of the Midwest thrives today supported by the many contemporary artists who live and work in the place that has become known as Peaceful Valley.

Influenced by the work of Indiana-born portrait painter Marie Goth, music icon and artist John Mellencamp, who built his Belmont music studio in these same hills near the T. C. Steele studio, has created an impressive body of fine art that carries on the tradition of excellence and the reputation of a vibrant art enclave the history of which spans nearly 150 years. John, looking for a way to unwind from the busy road schedules and demanding music business, began painting over 20 years ago in the garage of his Bloomington home and enjoys depicting world issues such as such as war, politics and inequality. Painting

allows John to connect with himself and his fans in a different but yet artist format. The Hoosier Group was a group of Indiana Impressionist painters working in the late 19th and early 20th centuries known for their renditions of the Indiana landscape. The most famous artist from this group was Theodore Clement Steele [1847-1926]. T.C. Steele’s home and studio are now a state historic site located in Brown County between Nashville and Bloomington. Other known members are Richard Gruelle, William Forsyth, J. Ottis Adams, and Otto Stark. While works by these artists are found in private and public collections around the United States, a number of collections, primarily in Indiana include the works of all five artists. These include the Indianapolis Museum of Art, Indiana State Museum, and the Columbia Club,Indianapolis; Indiana Univeristy of Art Museum, Bloomington; the Richmond Art Museum, Richmond; Ball State University Museum of Art, Muncie; and the Swope Art Museum, Terre Haute. The T.C. Steele State Historic Site includes 211 acres of wooded hills and ravines that inspired the artist to paint some of his most famous works. As Indiana’s premier portraitist of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Steele also painted many of Indiana’s “rich and famous.” Steele was attracted to Brown County

by the scenery he encountered while hiking in the area. Artists from around the country came to visit and to paint with Steele, finding for themselves the area’s spectacular beauty. Many stayed and settled to form the famous Brown County Art Colony. Another gentleman from Indiana who also become very popular from painting portraits of very prominent people, including authors, painters and political leaders is Wayman Elbridge Adams [1883–1959]. He earned the nickname
of “lightning” completing many of his works in one sitting. Adams, an American Painter who was born in Muncie, Indiana, began painting and a very early age and later received formal instruction in the arts at the Herron School of Art of Indianapolis where he continued his studies under the guidance of master painter William Merritt Chase in Florence. Adams continued to thrive as an artist, later continuing his travels abroad establishing himself as an oil painter focusing on figures, genre, and murals. One of Adam’s most well known portraits is of Booth Tarkington bringing him national recognition as a gifted professional portraiture artist. The legacies continue with artists such as James Willie Faust who grew up on a farm in rural Lapel, Indiana and holds a BFA in Sculpture from the Herron School of Art in 1971 and an MFA from the University of Illinois in 1974. Faust has been a professional artist since 1978, and his artwork has been included in over 100 Indiana exhibitions and more than 100 National exhibits including Universities, Galleries and Museums. His work is included in the internationally famous Absolut Art Collection, and in 1993-94 he served on the N.A.S.A. Art Team for the Mission to Planet Earth project. More recently, Faust was commissioned for the Artspark at the IAC, the Herron School of Art of IUPUI, and the Indianapolis Airport Authority to create his mural installation Chrysalis for the new Indianapolis Airport project in 2008.
Robert Clark, better known as Robert Indiana was born in New Castle, Indiana and is known for his iconic work LOVE first created for a Christmas Card for the Museum of Modern Art in 1964 and later was included on an eight-cent United States Postal Service postage stamp in 1973, the first of their regular series of “love stamps.” Indiana’s works are in the permanent collections of numerous museums throughout the country including Museum of MOdern Art, New York; Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; Stedelijk Museum, Schiedam, The Netherlands and Carnegie Institute to name a few. You’ll find his LOVE sculpture outside the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Also from the Muncie area is James Robert Davis [born July 28, 1945], an American cartoonist who grew up on a small farm in Fairmount, Indiana. Davis is best known as the creator of the comic strip Garfield, which he signs as Jim Davis. Davis resides in Albany, Indiana, where he and his staff produce Garfield under Paws, Inc. launched in 1981 working with agents around the world managing Garfield’s vast licensing, syndication, and entertainment empire. Davis has also worked on other strips:Tumbleweed, Gnorm Gnat, U.S. Acres [aka Orson’s Farm] and a strip about Mr. Potato Head. Davis has written or co-written all of the Emmy Award-winning Garfield TV specials and was one of the producers behind the Gafield & Friends TV show which aired on CBS from 1988 to 1995.

Coast to Coast painting by John Mellencamp John Mellencamp also lends his talent to the cause. Exhibiting for the first time in Bloomington since 1995, John donated signed prints to an auction and delivered his 24 ft. COAST TO COAST painting to be installed for a special fundraiser. This large oil on canvas is full of symbolism, cultural and spiritual diversity and specially chosen for the affair.

Art and Culture Flourish

Art is flourishing in Indiana
Vibrant colors of sand, ornate sculptures made from butter, hand painted copper drums that symbolize peace and good luck…one visit to the Tibetan Mongolian Buddhist Cultural Center provides the guest with an inside look at the sacred arts of Tibet and Mongolia. The TMBCC, founded in the 1970’s by Professor Thubten Jigme Norbu, eldest brother of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, is nestled on 108 acres of scenic, wooded land. The Dalai Lama, who visited the center in May, dedicated two of the newest artistic landmarks on the property. Entering the property though the gateway of Kumbum West, visitors begin to “feel transported to someplace other than the rolling hills of Indiana,” commented center Naturalist Sandy Belth. The gateway was designed by TMBCC Director, the Venerable Arjia Rinpoche. Using the inspiration of the gateway of Kumbum
Monastery in Tibet, where he served as Abbot for many years, Rinpoche combined his skill in architectural design with traditional art forms to create a stunning entry for the property. The structure was hand painted by monks and features intricate designs of Lotus flowers and Tibetan and Mongolian symbols.
"Preserving the traditional Tibetan and Mongolian art forms and customs is very important to our work at the center and allows us to create multicultural and interfaith dialogue” . – The Venerable Arjia Rinpoche Just past the gate are the sacred sand mandala encased in the pagoda and the Mani-Korlo [or prayer wheel house] located just down the path from the Cultural Building. Each creation features
traditional art forms and symbols that were created by skillful artists and monks commissioned by Arjia Rinpoche to create permanent exhibits at the Center.
The new arts programming at the TMBCC is one component in the overall mission for the center. It is dedicated to developing a new curriculum for cultural arts education. Sacred beading workshops
will be offered this fall as well as other classes and workshops for children and adults. Student prices will be available and the center is researching the possibility of developing a scholarship program. For more information regarding classes and tours of the TMBCC, call 812-336-6807.

Last year, the TMBCC announced its mission to create a center for the arts providing classes, workshops and exhibits of traditional Tibetan and Mongolian art forms. Students will learn from skillfull artists, most of whom will travel hundreds and even thousands of miles to share their knowledge. Thangkas are made entirely from thousands of tiny beads. Ellis studied the traditional art form and then applied the skills he learned while serving as an apprentice with a Native American Chief. “I have researched all over the U.S., and to my knowledge, I am the only artisan creating this art form with the beading technique. I spent a year completing the White Tara…and that was working on the piece every day!”

Arthouse Cinema
These newer platforms provide filmmakers with additional opportunities for getting their films to a broader audience.
is Alive and Well
Arthouse cinema thrives despite struggle of independent theaters across the U.S.
have traditionally been presented in film festivals and specialty cinemas, when they are fortunate enough to receive distribution, hence being forced into their niche markets.
Despite the fact that independent theatres across the U.S. continue to struggle, arthouse cinema is very much alive! Arthouse film is generally categorized as foreign language, documentary, and independent film. A common misconception is that the films are aimed at a niche market rather than a large audience. The reality is that most filmmakers want their films seen by as many people as possible.
Over the past decade, the lines between commercial and independent cinema have been blurred. American independent film has broken into the chains and multiplexes, and now has a strong foothold. Woody Allen’s most recent release, Midnight in Paris, stayed onscreen for an entire summer, becoming Allen’s best grossing film ever. Many foreign language films have also enjoyed wider commercial releases in recent years.
However, films that are produced outside of the studio system generally have small production budgets, little or no special effects, few, if any celebrity actors, and shoe-string advertising campaigns. These films
Furthermore, alternate platforms like VOD [Video on Demand], Day-and-Date cable releases, and streaming options have given consumers many more platforms for selecting arthouse fare.
Filmmakers, distributors and exhibitors have strong disagreements over these non-traditional platforms. While all parties fight for their interests, there are two areas of common ground. The first is that the traditional model of theatrical release and distribution will no longer sustain the industry —as consumer’s desires for receiving and viewing media are ever changing. The second, and most assuring, is that the theatrical release of a film is still considered the most important part of its distribution plan. The opening of a film nationally in cinemas continues to be where the majority of the media’s attention and advertising budgets are directed. A shared experience, in a great venue is how filmmakers, studios, distributor, and of course exhibitors, want film to be best experienced. It is up to us exhibitors to make the shared experience much more desired than a casual viewing in the home. If exhibitors can provide the best environment, uphold the highest standards of exhibition, and let the art speak for itself, there is no doubt that arthouse film and the cinemas that present them, are alive and well.

Annual Cyclist Event Continues Legacy
“This is a challenging route,” Higgins said. “We strongly encourage intermediate and above cyclists to participate because of the demands of the course. In fact, interested individuals should practice as much as possible before the actual event in order to be physically ready to handle the challenge.” For the past eight years, Florida resident Scott Chapman travels the same approximately 820 miles from Orlando to Bloomington. “I’ve been a cyclist for quite some time now and out of all the rides that I’ve participated in the Hilly Hundred is by far the best organized and supported,” Chapman said.
At the peak of Indiana’s autumn season, 5,000 cyclists will take part in the 44th Annual Hilly Hundred on October 14 and 15.
Along with the route, cyclists can enjoy great food and entertainment throughout the weekend. With the help of several hundred volunteers, this event continues to provide fellowship and fun for all involved.
“The Hilly Hundred is a recreational tour of southern Indiana,” Managing Director Skip Higgins said. “It is an end of the cycling season event that allows riders to enjoy the changing fall colors and beautiful scenery.” The ride covers about one hundred miles of scenic country roads over two days including travel on hilly terrain.

The program provides extension specialists in enology [winemaking], viticulture [grape growing], and marketing to assist commercial and amateur grape growers and winemakers. Nearly two million visitors travel to an Indiana winery a year, making wineries the #1 agritourism destination for the state. There are three primary wine trails in Indiana the first one being in the southeast, the Indiana Wine Trail, near Madison with accessibility off of I65 featuring six wineries. Going north you will find the Uplands Wine Trail in South Central
Indiana consisting of nine different wineries stretching from Bloomington to French Lick Winery then east to several near Louisville. This winter the trail will be hosting their annual “Winter In The Uplands” event from November through January, 2012. Going north to Indy, you will experience the Indy Wine Trail from Mallow Run in Whiteland, to Ferrins Fruit Winery in Carmel. They are getting ready for their annual Chili Cook– off October 15–16 and

Nebraska and Northwestern. Leaders’ members are Indiana, Purdue, Illinois, Ohio State, Wisconsin and Penn State. Lucas Oil Stadium is a neutral field, one of the reasons it was selected, but it's also close to home for Indiana’s two Big 10 schools, Purdue, located in West Lafayette, and Indiana, located in Bloomington. They're an hour drive from downtown Indianapolis. The Super Bowl has grown from the championship game for the National Football League into one of the great sporting events in the world and downtown Indy will be a vibrant, happening place for 10 days starting January 27. Lucas Oil Stadium will hold approximately 73,000 for the Super Bowl, but thousands more will be in Indianapolis to enjoy the NFL Experience at the Convention Center, the Super Bowl Village on rebuilt Georgia Street and additional events at Conseco Fieldhouse. It will be the 20th straight year the NFL has produced the Experience, which runs from January 27 to February 4. It offers a plethora of engaging and entertaining activities that will provide memories and memorabilia for a lifetime for all ages.
There will be free autograph sessions with more than 50 NFL past and present superstars. The official NFL draft set, a replica of an NFL locker room on game day and the NFL command center, where visitors can learn how NFL officials are graded with a collection of plays from the 2011 season, will be reproduced. The locker room will feature NFL coaches discussing their experiences and taking questions from the audience and NFL players putting on seminars on football fundamentals. At the Wilson Football Factory, visitors can watch how official NFL game balls are individually produced and authentic Super Bowl game balls will be manufactured and sold on site. Displays include a collection of all 45 Super Bowl rings and the NFL Network Threatre, where visitors can take a seat and watch NFL games. For children, there is the NFLRUSH Zone for Kids, offering scaled-down versions of popular interactive football activities, and NFL FLAG Clinics, open to ages six to 12. They’ll learn the basics of NFL FLAG football through small scrimmages focusing on skills like flag pulling, catching, passing and agility. There is also the Play 60 Youth Football Clinics, providing instruction
on the skills of the game and available on a firstcome, first served basis. The NFL will have its largest memorabilia show ever and the NFL Shop for official Super Bowl 46 merchandise. Visitors will be able to see the Vince Lombardi Trophy, which annually goes to the Super Bowl winner, up close. The Super Bowl Village will be built on Georgia Street on three blocks from Pennsylvania to Capitol Avenue that connect the Convention Center to Conseco Fieldhouse. It will be a place to meet, eat and drink and listen to live music, a free and festive atmosphere. “We really think this promenade between Conseco Fieldhouse and the Convention Center is going to be a great place for all the pedestrians and spectators to come,” said Indianapolis Host Committee Senior Vice President Susan Baughmann. “There are going to be lights, sounds, there are going to be bands. There will be a lot of razzle dazzle. You can come in, come with your buddies, bring your family and be able to participate in a lot of activities without ever going to the game.”

The Seiberling Mansion, completed in 1891, was built when Ohio industrialist Monroe Seiberling decided to move to Kokomo to open the Kokomo Strawboard Company. The offer of free natural gas and land to manufacturers after the 1886 discovery of a large gas vein in the area turned Kokomo into an industrial town. Since 1972, the mansion has been the home of the Howard County Historical Society where the Victorian architecture provides a beautiful backdrop for the interesting exhibits. Kokomo’s only Gas Boom manufacturer surviving today is the Kokomo Opalescent Glass Company [KOG]. Started in 1888, they have continued to produce decorative art glass that is shipped to

Revitalization Breathes New Life into Downtown Muncie By Amy Lynch
Muncie's burgeoning downtown is getting an extensive revitalization facelift If you haven’t been to Muncie in awhile, you’re in for some pleasant surprises. Muncie’s burgeoning downtown is getting a facelift thanks to extensive revitalization undertakings that got underway five years ago, and the slated improvements are far from over.
traveliN holiday issue 2011
Thanks to efforts led by the Muncie Downtown Development Partnership, along with contributions from Ball State University, Cardinal Health Systems and other corporate and non-profit counterparts, historic buildings have been restored, new projects have been created, occupancy rates have soared and activities are booming.
64
“A clean, lively, economically stable and liveable downtown is one of the signs of a healthy city,” explains Cheryl Crowder, director of events for the Muncie Downtown Development Partnership. “It is necessary for the heart of a city to be solid for the body to succeed. Downtowns are an indicator of community pride and quality of life.” Crowder says the new Canan Commons urban

city park on the south end of downtown is one of this year’s biggest additions to the scene, including a performance stage, solar-powered lights and a rain garden. Other in-the-works projects take in the development of the Muncie Cantilevered Walkway through the heart of the city with views overlooking the White River, a green space complex and a scenic roundabout. The revitalization is paying off in measurable and tangible ways; the past ten years have seen the opening of 64 new businesses, development or occupation of 256,000 square feet of space, and the renovation of 32 buildings. Muncie also has received a Chamber of Commerce “Community of the Year Award” in recognition of its downtown development endeavors. Walnut Street is a particular geographical stretch that’s received plenty of attention, bouncing back from a 92 percent vacancy rate in 2001 to an amazing 86 percent occupancy rate in 2010. This thriving district, billed as the city’s Arts and Entertainment epicenter, beckons locals and visitors to enjoy a wide range of unique shops, innovative art galleries, music venues, bars and intriguing restaurants. Restaurant 2[oh!] 4 is just one example. A bustling spin-off of the popular Blue Bottle coffee shop next door, 2[oh!] 4 draws crowds for its fresh approach to food and its menus of delicious upscale entrees, pastas, salads, flatbreads and sandwiches that change every few months.
“The restaurant’s objective is to create high quality local and seasonal food for a price the community can afford,” chef Alan Sternberg describes. “Doing this helps bring people downtown who otherwise would probably not venture down here. Also, buying local product as much as I can puts money back into the local community!” As president of the Muncie Arts and Culture Council, Carl Schafer works to help shine a light on the many creative-minded attractions Muncie has to offer. “The downtown area has many established cultural venues resulting from years of revitalization efforts,” he says. “These include a children’s museum, two renovated historic theatres, profit and non-profit art galleries, and a brand new outdoor performance space.” Additionally, new directional signage and a web site will make it even easier for people to get to know and enjoy downtown Muncie. Although Muncie makes a great place to visit any time of year, a year-long calendar chock full of special events provides even more reason to come to town. From music festivals, free outdoor summer movies and art walks on the first Thursday of each month to holiday parades, Freaky Tiki Fridays and the ever-popular annual Muncie Gras bash, there’s always something fun to do downtown.

Commissioned by industrialist and philanthropist J. Irwin Miller and his wife Xenia Simons Miller in 1952, Miller House and Garden was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2000. The house expands upon an architectural tradition developed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe—epitomizing the international Modernist aesthetic—with an open and flowing layout, flat roof and vast stone and glass walls. The rooms, configured beneath a grid pattern of skylights supported by cruciform steel columns, are filled with strong colors and playful patterns. Amid the residence’s large geometric gardens, its

The energy and enthusiasm of early autumn continue through the chillier fall and winter months, with many thrilling activities and events. There are Big Ten sports, outstanding musical performances and a variety of quality productions by local theater companies. And of course the season creates a festive mood and the inspiration to shop like maniacs! These last two topics are worth mentioning in more detail, as there are unique opportunities to get in the holiday spirit and do some major shopping in Bloomington.
The very next day offers shoppers an opportunity to discover Bloomington’s local artisans at the Holiday Market. This one-day arts fair at City Hall showcases numerous art and crafts made in and around Bloomington. From jewelry to paintings, fabric art to unique furniture, you’ll be able to take home some great gifts for even the pickiest loved one.

The Friday after Thanksgiving turns the downtown square into a scene from a Norman Rockwell painting, with crowds gathering to view the lighting of the twinkle lights. This simple festival, with caroling, shopping and pictures with Santa, will evoke cheer and good will from even the crabbiest Scrooge.
These two events, plus the hundreds of other shops, events and attractions make Bloomington a hot place to visit during the crisp holiday season.

A horse drawn carriage arrives at the door step. Inside the home, hot cider and fresh baked cookies fill the air while a fireplace warms the space in a glow. Edward Showers and the Showers family enjoyed the holiday season in a traditional fashion in their stately home on N. Washington Ave. circa 1903. Today, a new family, the Michael Fierst family share this historic home with the community as a boutique Bed and Breakfast and host a lavish holiday party each year to celebrate the holiday season. Guests will sample the different signature tapas and seasonal foods prepared by Food nework challenge winner Leo Cook. The courtyard glistens with twinkle lights, carolers greet you at the door and the Inn is filled with beautiful holiday décor. A Showers Inn Christmas will be December 1, 2011. Mark your calendars for this free event and plan to ring in the holiday season in vintage elegance.

at Malibu Grill Seafood creations are chef Randy Glaze's works of art Oceanside dining is not an option in the Midwest. We’re known for crops and cattle, so seafood is typically an afterthought. Yet, one trip to Bloomington’s Malibu Grill for a sampling of chef Randy Glaze’s sensational fresh seafood dishes will leave you convinced a hint of sea salt is drifting through the downtown Bloomington air. Malibu Grill, located on the east side of Bloomington’s Courthouse Square, offers a casual California style dining experience accentuated by exceptional entrées. Although there is something for everyone on the menu, from seasoned steaks to salads to burgers, the seafood creations are truly Malibu’s work of art. Chef Glaze prides himself on unique, diverse dishes, so if it’s grilled you’re after, he has it. Same goes for pan seared, blackened, wood oven roasted or fried. “Quality is our secret,” said J.B. Bailey, managing partner. “We believe in finding the best possible sources for our seafood. We only accept and serve the finest seafood available.” No matter what time of day you visit Malibu Grill, relax and begin your dining experience with an appetizer, try the Mahi Mahi Fish Tacos with sriracha and fresh lime or maybe a Crab Cake. Or, perhaps a plate of Ducktrap River Smoked Salmon and Trout served with capers, peppers, onions and crositi.
An extensive wine list is another benefit of dining at Malibu Grill. “A glass of 2009 Mauritson Sauviguon Blanc is a perfect complement to our lighter seafood dishes. With salmon, I recommend a bottle of 2009 Belle Glos “Meiomi” Pinot Noir,” said Bailey. For those who prefer to accompany their meal with beer or liquor, Malibu boasts an impressive collection of craft brews and a vast assortment of top shelf liquors served straight up or mixed into a variety of specialty drinks. The Sagamore of the Wabash is a local favorite made with W.H. Harrison Indiana Bourbon, local sorghum syrup, mint and lime, served in glass drizzled with Sorghum syrup around the rim, is a true treat in accompaniment to any meal. Light, elegant lunch entrées are a Malibu specialty. A variety of salads may be topped with shrimp, a crab cake, salmon, cumin seared Mahi, seared rare Ahi or perch filets. A real treat for any fish lover, is the Bell Perch fried fish sandwich. This yellow lake perch masterpiece is served with shaved romaine, diced tomato, Creole ranch dressing and a side of lemon remoulade. Combine this sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries for a meal you’ll long remember. If pasta is your preference, the Spicy Shrimp and Scallop Linguini with zucchini, yellow squash, red and yellow peppers, shaved red onions and fresh mint in spicy seafood broth will satisfy any appetite.
Malibu Grill’s distinct environment is special in that it serves the call for any distinguished dinner occasion, yet is casual enough for nothing more than a simple night out with your significant other, or a gathering of friends. You won’t go wrong with any of the seafood dishes served on Malibu’s dinner menu. The Pan Seared Mahi Mahi with creamy pesto capellini and topped with sundried tomato butter is outstanding. The Caramelized Salmon, a house specialty, is served with crispy leeks, wilted greens, chinoy sauce and steamed broccoli. Blackened Rare Tuna, served alongside wasabi mashed potatoes, green onion soubise, and pickled ginger is remarkable. Also, be sure to ask about our weekend’s Chef’s Fresh Catch— always something exciting.

windows to brighten your dining experience. Thankfully, not much has changed when it comes to the fresh, bold flavors of their Mediterranean style food. Except for the addition of handmade Burekas—savory pies of spinach, cheese, potatoes, and meat, that the owner just couldn’t help but introduce to the menu after a visit to Israel last year—the menu has remained unchanged. They are still doing things the traditional way, baking fresh pita bread every day as well as making hummus and of course, falafels. The gyros and shawarma are made from real cuts of beef, lamb and chicken, the way they should be. Don’t worry, there are plenty of vegan, and vegetarian dishes in addition to the fresh meat. If you haven’t been yet, now is the time to go. They deliver, cater, as well as offer inhouse dining and carry-out, and don’t forget there are lunch specials every day.

Newly renovated Falafels Middle Eastern Grill still serving food the traditional way Falafels Middle Eastern Grill, a popular dining place for both students and locals, located at 430 E. Kirkwood in Bloomington has recently re-opened its doors after a 6 week renovation during July and August. The renovation includes a complete change to the interior space and the addition of a door on Dunn Street to make accessing the restaurant even easier. The redesign project includes all new floors, walls, tile, kitchen equipment, paint,
server station, tables, chairs, restrooms and even a new efficient computer system. And if that wasn’t enough change, they have also removed an old staircase that had been closed off for years to open up the space, built new steps into the dining room, and added new
