Steel Magnolias
Mariposa Arts Theatre is pleased to present this play by American author Robert Harling. Originally written as a short story, it became a play first performed Off-Broadway and then adapted for the movie Steel Magnolias in 1989. Through the years, this comedy-drama has become a favourite with community theatres everywhere. Apr 21-24 & 2830 . Tickets are $30. Laughing for Lake Simcoe
The Rescue Lake Simcoe Coalition is hosting a night of laughter, fun and entertainment as World Renowned Comedian and Star of the hit show Corner Gas – Brent Butt will be performing live. This event is in support of the Rescue Lake Simcoe Coalition and its efforts to keep Lake Simcoe a habitable ecosystem for generations to come. Tickets are $65. Silent auction will be available.
