My name is Juanita E Gaynor and I am a Philadelphia native who relocated to Atlanta, GA in 2008; started my event planning career at the age of fourteen. I am a certified wedding planner that holds an Associate’s degree in Business Administration from Eastern Nazarene College and an Associate’s degree in Accounting from Atlanta Technical College. In 1994 I founded EABJ Consulting and Event Management, Inc., a special event and meeting management company currently headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. My goal was to help people visualize their dream events, and then assist them in seeing that event come to fruition. For me, establishing my business was about taking creativity to a new level and challenging the status quo of what an event should be. In 2013 I founded Restored 2 Life; a non-profit organization working with survivors of child abuse; it is also the time I began to speak about and discuss the abuse I suffered as a child and how I am working to become beacon of hope and love to those who have suffered from it. In 2015 I started Elite Financial Management LLC; a full services accounting and bookkeeping firm that can evaluate your individual needs to customize the best accounting solution for your business. I am currently working on her first book due to be released in October of 2019 and working to expand my companies globally. I credit my business and personal success to always being open and willing to be used by God. Elite Financial Management is a full-service accounting firm providing outsourced bookkeeping, payroll, and back office support to small businesses (focus on women entrepreneurs), nonprofit and ministry organizations nationwide by utilizing the best in cloud technology. I had to learn that the word No was a complete sentence and that by saying No I was not mean, selfish or ungrateful. It meant that I valued the health of my mind, body and soul. I am planning to Expand Elite Financial Management, LLC to the point where I can leave my corporate job permanently.

Share Something You have overcome!
For me, my story starts when I was 7 years old. My teacher, “Ms. C” randomly says, “Kimberly, stand in front of class and show everyone your red birthmark on your hand.” As I walk to the front of class, my eyes well up with tears as my classmates are standing in line to get a closer look.” I feel like a freak. Additionally, I am not doing well in school because I have difficulty with reading and math while my older brother is excelling in school and is on the honor roll. I create this story that I am unlovable, I am stupid, and I am not good enough even though I am a good kid from a good neighborhood with supportive parents. These beliefs are instilled throughout high school as my grades slip, my self-esteem plummets, and I fiercely rebel against my parents. When I enter college, I decided that I am going to become an achiever who goes out to prove that she is good enough and to prove that I can get on the honor roll, just like my brother, and get positive attention from my teachers and parents. Indeed, I changed things around in college by achieving honor roll status and I earned my way into graduate school. As aforementioned, I believe any teen can turn their situation around too.
I am reaching my goals of writing my own book, launching a podcast titled, “Teens Today, Leaders Tomorrow, and launching a new 90-day program for teens called, “The Breakthrough Leadership System™.” I would like to empower 1,000 teens to step into the power of leadership by December 2019. Spotlight Nancy Tarr Hart, PhD Live your life knowing that you are enough— there is no one else like you and no one else who is here to do what you are here to do!
Nancy Tarr Hart, PhD has a wide and varied history of personal and professional experience with a career that encompasses working 40+ years in the worlds of business, education, and theatre. Also, an intuitive and mystic, the understanding of her spiritual gifts fully ignited in 1995 and, in 1999 she was guided by Spirit/Sophia to begin an academic journey that began with working to attain an undergraduate degree. The journey culminated in a PhD in Religious Studies with a concentration in systematic theology, feminist theory, the Divine Feminine, and Marian Studies from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David in Lampeter, Wales. The author of the two-volume series entitled, Beyond the Veil Volumes 1 and 2: Unmasking the Feminine and Unraveling the Mystery of Mary, Dr. Tarr Hart is also one of the contributors to the collection of daily inspirations entitled, Empowering YOU, Transforming Lives (compiled by Rebecca Hall Gruyter). Currently an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the Notre Dame of Maryland University, she is an ardent fiber artist who enjoys traveling, reading, writing, gardening, and sharing her home with her cats, Kali and Bastet. My book—Volume 2 (of a two-volume series) entitled, Beyond the Veil: Unmasking the Mystery of Mary. The book series (and the doctoral thesis from which it materialized) is the outcome of a Spirit-driven chapter of my own spiritual journey. Through the sharing of findings of my doctoral research study, the reader is taken on a journey that explores the ways in which the feminine voice has been suppressed and carefully disguised in Western religious tradition in favor of the masculine. This volume (Volume 2 of the series) concentrates on Mary of Nazareth, a figure who has never been absent or eliminated from Christian teachings, as it explores her life and contributions to the world based on her own merits (as opposed to solely through the lens of her role as the mother of Jesus). It offers new insights into the mystery of Mary that unveil the image of a young Israelite woman who was chosen by God to carry out Divine will in human history and, of her own accord, was the key and essential player without whom the Christian story would not exist.
In 1999, at the age of 46, while working full time, I went to college. I earned a BA in the double majors of Religious Studies and Philosophy, summa cum laude, and then went on to earn my PhD in Religious Studies from the University of Wales, Trinity Saint David in Lampeter, Wales. The degree was awarded in 2013—I was 60 years old when I walked across the ceremonial stage. In 2016, having taken early retirement from an administrative position at a local regional theatre, I got a call from my undergraduate alma mater asking if I was available to teach a course. I have been there ever since—am now an Assistant Professor of Philosophy. Coming full circle like this was certainly never anticipated, but is something of which I am immensely proud. Of course, publishing this book series is another success I have achieved (and of which I am also very proud!).
