Spotlight Leslie Wright My name is Leslie Wright originally from Landover, MD and relocated to North Carolina after my parents divorced in 1998. Graduated with honors in the communication field at the University of NC at Greensboro. Originally I wanted to write for Essence Magazine, but quickly learned I did better speaking than writing. I later became an author and a speaker. I enjoy shopping, eating, and sleeping. I have a weakness for purses and tote bags and my son Jayden. I am a bestselling author, speaker, and event planner. I dabble in coaching and consulting other small business owners about using events as another visibility and financial portal for success. I have an amazing family that through life’s challenges we remain close. I love dogs. I love people. I’ve had amazing corporate jobs in UPS, the City, Healthcare facilities, you name it. I love working hard and seeing it pay off. My son inspires me the most to be the best person I can be for him, and thus it fuels me to service others. Please check out my books. Both are available on Amazon. My first one: So, You Think You Can Plan and my latest one: Plan of Attack (Best Seller on Amazon!)

My advice to others: To thine own self be true. When you start out this walk of business ownership you will get a lot of opinions, but just remember everyone has one. But you are the only person that can answer for how your life was lived. Get tunnel vision, write your vision down, and go full speed ahead.

My 2017 Goals: To launch my real estate investing company and to leverage that knowledge through events. To make 6 figures this year in both my businesses and to be in several more books either as collaborations or write my own. To be in national known magazines for my work. To get my commercial for Atlanta produced and financed. To get my story documented via video.

My biggest obstacles that I continue to triumph over is the need to make people understand event planning is a real career path and lastly, to understand that dating right is essential to a healthy life. With my life, I have to date someone that is secure, independent and have a plan for life, the best he can anyway‌anything else just doesn’t work. I have done a lot of self-discovery about what I want and what I’m willing to give in the past 6 months. Balancing personal and business life seems to get more and more easier the more I dedicate myself to self-improvement just as much as I work relentless about making Partiez By Leslie better.

What are your expectations at an event? When you are in business, there are many different events you probably attend to help you and your business gain exposure. Have you thought about what your expectations are from attending these event? If not, please consider the following. First, here are some types of events: Networking, workshops, seminars, conferences, chamber meetings, craft and vendor fairs. Set a goal for each event such as: connecting with one potential client, a referral for someone in your network, or helping someone else connect with a business partner you have who can help them. Don’t make the event all about you and what you can get out of it. Please don’t try to sell your product or services to someone with your hard sales pitch without knowing if your service or products are even needed by them. I’ve had people so pushy with telling me how great their product is and how much I needed it that I did everything in my power to avoid them during the entire event. I have even mark their business card with a big NO on it so I would make sure I didn’t reach out to them or invite them to any events I host. They are not the people I want at my events harassing my network and attendees. I know other event organizers who do this as well. This is pretty rude and people can sense you are all about what you can get from them. Nobody likes to be treated this way. Instead, take time to get to know others and really listen to what they have to offer and their personal and business needs. Get to know the person behind their products and services. Pay attention to the people around you and the speakers, they are a great resource to receive advice and guidance that could really help your business grow. Looking at your phone or talking to your friend the entire time is not helping you grow your business. It also doesn’t present a professional appearance and people will think you do not take your business serious and will be hesitant to work with you. People do repeat business with someone they trust and believe you have their best interest at heart. Even if they don’t need your service or product, they will be a great referral resource for you when they trust you will treat someone in their network with respect. Also, it is important to have a great time at events and know you get out of it what you put in. You are spending your time there, so make it worth it. Spotlight: Linda Patten Linda Patten is a leadership expert, event planner, entrepreneur, international speaker, international radio show host on Voice America, and international best-selling author who shows women how to realize their ability to lead, to dream, and to create in their lives what inspires them. As someone who walks her talk, Linda is founder and CEO of Dare2Dream With Linda and Wayneflete, Inc., both dynamic enterprises which express her passion to support women in business. Through her programs and seminars, Linda takes her clients on a journey of self-discovery, personal empowerment, skills development, and a charted course toward becoming a leader of their own lives. With forty years of experience and her years as an officer in the U.S. Army, in human resources and training in large corporations, Linda is in a unique position to understand the “art of herding cats” (big cats, not kittens!) -- training leaders to lead teams and have a powerful impact on the world stage. Linda holds an MBA in Organizational Behavior and Leadership, a Certificate in Meeting Management (CMM), as well as leadership positions in numerous professional management associations and women’s business networking groups. She is author and guest contributor on 4 books listed She speaks to audiences worldwide on topics of leadership and empowering women in business and has a highly successful radio show on Voice America Radio, Leadership Stars. Visit her website, Dare2DreamwithLinda.com, or contact her at Linda@dare2dreamwithlinda.com. I feel inspired every time I have the opportunity to help someone step into that place of her personal power, to uncover the natural leader that she truly is to make an extraordinary impact. My superpower is to hold space for women so they can create their vision and bring it into reality with skill, confidence and empowerment. For me that means leadership; however, so many women don’t see themselves as leader (I know – I was once a ‘reluctant leader’ myself). It thrills me no end when I see women become successful through real transcendence – leading the way shining their own special light. My Special Projects Leadership Inspiration – a 52-week video series with quotes on leadership and tips on how to implement them. The Art of Herding Cats group program and individual coaching – both are 6 months in length with 2 coaching / training calls per month and a 1:1 coaching call that teaches the 12 steps to developing the leadership skills needed to have a powerful impact on the world stage. It is my belief that when you have found your purpose in your business, there is no way you can hide your leadership! The passion you have for your purpose will not allow you to stand in the shadows and “just do your job.” Taking leadership of your purpose can move you from feeling stuck and rudderless, to feeling a passion that urges you forward to something bigger and more meaningful than ever before. My advice for my fellow woman entrepreneurs is this: Acknowledge, embrace and honor the fact that YOU are a leader! This means stepping fully into the power of being a leader and a woman. Develop those leadership skills that will help you take action, build relationships, create an effective team, expand your influence (and income), and fulfill your purpose. One of my major goals in 2017 is to focus on a passion of mine, which I feel is more important now than ever before. This is to work with and empower women to step into leadership positions in business and in government. My client work will be devoted particularly to women from military or corporate backgrounds who are entering the entrepreneurial world and building teams, which has entirely different demands. After the position of authority and structure they’ve been used to, it can often feel as though they’ve been dropped on a strange new planet! My experience can help them make that transition to the entrepreneurial business paradigm so they can build the teams they need to be successful. In addition to personal client work, I am creating an online subscription program, as well as laying the foundation for a nonprofit program that will provide leadership training grants to women to increase the percentage of women in key business and government positions.

Spotlight: Eileen Nash I am a manifestor, a Registered Nurse, a successful Businesswoman and a Certified Intentional Creativity Teacher and Coach. Born in Texas, the youngest of five, my family moved a lot for my father's job in the oil business. My Mom moved a total of 34 times, I was luckier, only moving 6 of those times as I came along nearer to the end of my Dad's career. This meant I had to hone my skills in discerning who could be trusted and who would make a good friend. The moves also taught me that I was a survivor and adaptable, which would come in handy later in my life. Being able to start over and looking at challenges as adventures also shaped my personality, instilling resilience and a love of new things. Creativity was always a thread throughout my life, though it only became a primary focus 5 years ago when I became a Cosmic Cowgirl after connecting with Shiloh Sophia McCloud. In 2013, I graduated from the Color of Woman School of Intentional Creativity associated with Cosmic Cowgirls.

Being Creative! Once a person can let their inner critic 'take a walk' and start dancing with their Muse, all kinds of things can happen. I even consider making supper a creative act- because it is. Your entire life can be creative- it’s all about perspective. Also, transformational travel is completely inspiring. I started experiencing travel with a purpose (other than work) in 2013, and it can be mind-expanding. Being in one of your bucket-list locations with other creatives or seekers is powerful. I have experienced painting in Monet's Garden and inside Chartres cathedral, and spent a week in Greece painting and exploring the nine Muses. What a ride. In September, I will go on a Women's tour of sacred Celtic sites in southwest England- pure soul food. I have long had a plan to take Nurses to Florence to Paint their Legend as a Nurse. Why Florence? That is the magical city where Florence Nightingale and the Italian Renaissance was born- this offering will come about in 2018.

Her Goals for 2017: Successfully hosting twenty-six half hour shows that help people awaken to the special juiciness that is unique to them.

You have got to believe in yourself- if you don't, no one else will.---Eileen Nash Watch the show on VoiceAmerica on Sundays at 11 starting March19, 2017 and connect with me at www.RestoreYourCaringSoul.net

Restore your Caring Soul is a TV show that helps viewers connect to their authentic inner wisdom. Guests include Artists, Poets, Shamans, Bodyworkers, a Labyrinth expert, an acupuncturist, in other words- a wide variety of people who teach tools for self-expression and self-discovery. The show has creative practices such as meeting your spirit animal guide, using embellishment as a mindful practice, guided meditation. It offers a wide variety of portals for safe self-discovery. My wisdom on bringing about manifestation involves writing your goals and dreams. Whenever I write down my goals, the achievements become reality. Perhaps not always the way I thought, but they come to pass. Writing and reviewing your written goals is a powerful tool. Manifestation starts with a thought. This thought requires active listening. One must then allow the belief to form. Faith in the outcome is necessary. There is an incubation time, when the thoughts can float or bounce around in your head, your heart and your dream time. Action is next for development. Assessment of the idea for feasibility, stumbling blocks or next steps is necessary. Nurturing and revisiting the idea continues to hone the process. Repeat and repeat and repeat. The thing that you want will become a reality. So, the best plan is to fill your project with as much wonder, wisdom and love as possible.

Think Listen Allow Believe

Incubate Develop Assess Nurture Revisit Repeat

Fear is present or can be present, but fear is blunted by taking steps. With each step, one finds that they are further drawn to fulfill a vision or whether it will not work in their life. Taking action, no matter how small, creates a knowledge base which then becomes familiar to the thinker. Familiarity reduces fear.

She has overcome many Obstacles: I was born with a constriction of the bladder neck. This condition causes bladder and if untreated, kidney infections. The experiences associated with having this condition ended up informing my entire life. I felt unwanted and that there was something wrong with me. From infancy to around age 5 the best treatment was to periodically perform a procedure with a steel catheter to break up the constriction. These procedures are done quickly but the baby has to be held down and it is terrifying. A baby cannot understand what is going on- only that they are under attack. As a young nurse, I assisted with these kinds of procedures and witnessing it happen to another being almost made me faint. A core belief that I was not good enough and not wanted led me in later life to set up relationships where I repeatedly ended up feeling bereft and depressed. In my early twenties, I was in a relationship which included domestic violence. After lots of work on myself with therapists starting around age 30, I have finally come to understand my core story and how it has played out through the decades. Intentional Creativity and working on the story with art produced the most powerful shift in my story. (a picture of me as a young girl is one of the art pieces that really helped) The happy outcome: I am happily married for 26 years, created a six-figure biotech consultancy business which has lasted for 17 years and now I am starting the wild ride of hosting and producing a TV show.

YOU: An Intelligent Mirror Hello beautiful. I’m so glad to see you back for this month’s issue. This month I have been thinking about how much you remind me of a mirror. Today, I will just marvel at your intelligence. Mirror, mirror…what do you see when you look into a mirror? Your choices; good and bad. The result of choices you have made to date will be staring back at you in the mirror. Some choices you are really proud of and others you may have tried to forget because they were embarrassing, hurtful or maybe even damaging. Whatever it is for you, what amazes me, is that YOU have the power to impact what you see tomorrow. Yes, you get to decide what you want to focus on and transform. That for me is the miracle I can be part of by being a transformational coach. My clients often come to me after they have decided that there’s some aspect of themselves or their life that they have decided to resolve. It’s when they have decided to take care of some aspect of their life, now! Self-care is not a luxury Deciding to take a look in the mirror and make a change is often borne out of the pain of a current situation. I’ve been seeing self-care promoted a lot lately which is great because it’s essential to take care of ourselves. Like many responsible people, you may feel slightly guilty to spend time and money on things which are not considered necessities; I mean you can actually survive on very little sleep, survive without manicured nails, survive without regular massages and there is absolutely no need to break the bank when you fancy a night off from cooking, is there? I believe self-care is not a luxury but an investment into the type of life you and your loved ones will experience. I know my husband and children do not get the best of me when I’m tired, rushed off my feet or haven’t kept hydrated and eaten well.

Thriving over Surviving John 10:10 tells me that Jesus died so we, yes, you and me, can have life more abundantly. In some translations it says “to have life to the full”. Some say to have a “rich and satisfying life”. In Psalm 23:1 David interestingly comforts himself stating that she shall not only have what he needs, but that he “shall not want”. The word want can be defined as: (verb) have a desire to possess or do (something); wish for. Therefore, it’s imperative that we first allow ourselves to really identify our true desires. Otherwise, we can sometimes strive towards achieving things that in fact we don’t really desire. Maybe is that next promotion or and bigger house when actually what you actually desire is flexibility at work or more space which you could achieve by decluttering the space you already have. What do you really wish for? Do you desire to live a life of survival or do you desire to thrive abundantly in this life? What do you really want to do? What do you need to change to make that your reality? Remember, you are not just a reflection. You are an intelligent reflection who can make choices. Life and death is always laid before you. Do you feel powerful enough and love yourself enough to be intentional about the reflection you create tomorrow, next month, a year from now? If not, please reach out for support. WHY SHOULD I SHARE MY STORY? DOES ANYONE WANT TO READ IT? These are questions every potential writes asked themselves. Is my story worthy of being told? Will anyone want to read it? Will it be boring, rejected or not liked? Who am I to author a book? All great questions and easily answered. Everyone has a story to share. No matter who you are. No matter what you do. No matter your age. No matter your gender. Every single person has a story to tell. In the past story telling was an art form. It was cherished and handed down from one generation to the next. The wisdom and grace of storytelling was considered a gift. Those who kept the stories were revered and respected. Today should be no different. You have wisdom to impart. You have obstacles you have overcome. You have endured things and rallied back from defeat. You have survived what you thought would be the death of you. You raised children. You fell in and out of love. You married, you divorced and you lived to tell about it. No matter your past there is something you can share and give to the world. We all have pearls of wisdom and great advice to share with the women coming behind us. We need to remember that there is a woman standing in the shoes we were in waiting for us to tell her she will survive. Waiting for some hope, some light and encouragement. Waiting to be blessed and touched by your story! So take out pen and paper and start writing! And get ready to share your beautiful, powerful and unique story with the world. Everyday I Wonder Everyday I wonder, just where I am heading in life. My goals, my dreams, want and desires. The feeling of dread reaches higher in me. I reach deep down within and I push on. I walk on. We have knock backs in life and it’s apart of life. But our goal is to push away the negative and bring in the light and love to our lives. What do you want out of life? Have you ever said no to yourself? Have you ever made an excuse as to why you couldn’t reach your goals and or dreams? I know I have. But there comes a time in life where you realise and say to yourself NO MORE! I am enough, I could try harder and if I do get knocked down, I get back up and try again. Don’t look at it as a failure look at it as a experience when things don’t always pan out right. We have to fight for what we want in this world. Negativity lurks around every corner. Am I good enough? Will others really listen to my message? Will people be on board with what I am saying? The most important thing you can do is walk along all of that. People will come and go from your life. But the ones that cheer you on from the sidelines from your life, they are the ones that you want by your side. They are the ones that you need around you. A few people in life that I know of, does not want to see me succeed, they do not want to see me reach my goals and they tear me on down. But I won’t be shedding tears of a clown for them. I will wear my grown; I will don the gown and be all that I can be. You can be all you can too. Don’t let other people’s opinions (The negative opinions) control how you see yourself as a person. You are you and I am me. You are everything in this world. You’re here for a purpose. So reach the highest mountaintop. Be happy within yourself. You can do it! Rock your own world and most of all make a difference. You are a star.

My advice for today's women entrepreneur is: You are beautifully and wonderfully made and absolutely needed. Life is not a solo journey, be purposeful in joining communities that support you emotionally, personally, and professionally. Find mentors/coaches to walk beside you and cheer you on. Tune into positive programming to equip and empower you to do all that you are called to do in the world. As there is no one else like you...share the gift of you with the world! Be willing to be seen on the same level you are wanting to serve! (Your service and impact in the world will be limited by your visibility...if they cannot see you, you cannot serve them.) In 2017, I will be publishing 2 anthologies I'm leading that we anticipate will become best sellers (Bloom Where You are Planted and SHINE! and The Grandmother Legacies). RHG Media Productions will be launching our new global Internet based TV Network in March 2017! We have expanded our Speaker Talent Search (www.SpeakerTalentSearch.com where we help connect speakers with speaking opportunities) across the country to a virtual format so we now can serve a global market. We plan to continue to bring powerful leaders and experts to our radio and TV communities through Empowering Women, Transforming Lives (radio show) which we are now syndicating on 2 networks and multiple channels. Our TV Channel (EmpoweredConnectionsTV.com) the #1 most watched TV Channel on VoiceAmerica is going to be syndicated on two different networks. In February, we were honored to join Watermark Conference (Largest women’s Conference in Silicon Valley) as media interviewing many of their powerful global leaders. We will hold 5 of our powerful and heart centered Women's Empowerment Series Conferences. I'm honored to a coauthor of 3 additional anthologies to be released in 2017. My intention and goal in 2017 is to expand our new TV network and all of our programming and services to bring messages, messengers, tools and resources to equip and empower men and women around the world. Childhood abuse where I experienced things a little girl should never experience.... where it was not safe to be seen and heard...where I believed I didn't matter, I'm not okay, that it's my fault, and it isn't safe. I was eventually rescued and discovered those were lies...not the truth. That it wasn't my fault, that I have value just like you and each of your beautiful readers. That I matter and that it is safe to be seen and heard...and is actually needed. I look out in the world and I see men and women still believing the lies, I want to help them see the truth and to step forward and SHINE!

Rachel Lee White founder of The Disciples of the Blood of the Lamb Outreach Ministries, Inc. was born on Feb. 10, 1957 in Anderson, Indiana. After a difficult childhood and many traumatizing events, Rachel relocated to Atlanta Georgia in July 1987 at age 30. After more years of difficulties dealing with the emotional aftermath of her developmental years, she finally turned entirely to God in 2000 after an almost fatal automobile accident. The Vision of the Outreach Ministry was born. At this time Rachel is working as a full-time nurse, but plans to continue to pursue her vision. "There is one thing I do know," she says. "I am forgetting those things that are behind and pressing toward the mark of prize of the high calling of

Hello, my name is Rachel Lee White and I am very pleased and grateful for the opportunity to introduce myself. I am a Licensed Practical Nurse who works with developmentally delayed individuals including children. And, I am also a first-time author who plans to receive certification of Life coach, motivational speaking, etc. through the John Maxwell Team. I also started a nonprofit spiritual organization in 2006. I plan to help and encourage as many people as I can through God's grace and his direction. I am really excited about my life long assignment. And, I look forward to collaborating and networking with skyrocketing faithful individuals with similar goals: saving our children. I was inspired to write my story by God in 1987. I am a survivor/overcomer of child neglect/abuse and I am sharing my true heartfelt prayers straight from my heart to my God. I am hoping to help and encourage others to join my celebration of life through Christ Jesus. Losing my parents to the act of suicide-murder as a child was very traumatic and sad. But, my God turned my tears into joy. I began writing at an early age in kindergarten. I was always reading my daddy's books laying around on the table. However, I just realized after publishing my first book that I am going to pursue writing as a career. I really love sharing and caring as a nurse also. I believe when I retire from nursing my writing career will really skyrocket with God's direction. I would have to say the favorite character in my book is the little innocent girl who returned to innocence as a woman by God's grace. The amount of time it initially took to write my book was about six months, however it has taken me over twenty years to revise it and publish. My work can be found on amazon.com, barnesandnobles.com, xulonpress.com and Christian book stores. I spend maybe an hour a day writing and promoting and making new fans. I am not really sure about reinventing any book out there, but maybe I will re do my book: IT WAS NOT MY FAULT and add more spotlight on other areas and time frames. Perhaps write a series. I am contemplating writing a series on my present book as I have mentioned above, I would like to venture into romance and suspense. My favorite book series over the years has been topics of God's love and spiritual growth by Taffi Dollar.

My mentor has inspired me by demonstrating in writing and living how a healthy, wholesome life can manifest by faith in God's word connecting me to His grace. My writing process looks like: I brainstorm and write a rough draft for several days. I begin choosing words and thoughts to create my best sentence. And of course, I pray. Basically, I pray, think, write, rewrite and I research and gather information. I come up with a rough draft and put the pieces together and prepare for editing."

Link to Blog http://itwasnotmyfaultnewblog.blogspot.com/2016/07/the-authors-page-finding-grace-intimes.html My advice is to face every challenge with hard work and integrity promoting excellence and high moral conduct. Keep God first prioritizing and organizing every daily task and activity. I say plan, organize, create and implement. Live in the moment. I would like to spotlight my first-time authored book IT WAS NOT MY FAILT. AND AN Anthology of collective writers called LET HOPE ARISE I would also love to spotlight my God inspired Outreach organization called DISCIPLES OF THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB OUTREACH, INC. Wanting to make a difference in the lives people particularly children genuinely inspires me. Helping and encouraging anyone to smile and think wonderful ideas and thoughts really inspires me also. My plans for 2017 are filled with gracefully pursuing my personal well-being in every arena of my life; spirit, soul and body while collaborating and networking with my community to save our children. I am planning to complete certificate/license of Life Coach, Speaker and Teacher from The John Maxwell Team. I am planning to author more books; I am also planning to do more outreaching on close up and personal settings also. I am also, planning to participate in more speaking engagements and I want to construct a recording studio in the outreach ministry. And, continue to collaborate and support my partners particularly Wendi Youngblood, my daughter. We have a lot of progressive assignments in the makings; stores, clothing line, childcare and Christian Academy. This year is the year of reaping 21 the harvest simultaneously sowing the seeds.

Spotlight: Trisha Garrett Trisha is the Owner and Executive Producer of BriteLite TV Channel where she hosts “The Trisha Garrett Show” on RHG Network. Trisha is an International Amazon BestSelling Co-Author (Come Out of Hiding and Shine). Trisha has been a special guest on Talk Radio shows as well as a Panelist for Speaker Talent Search where opportunities for the candidates to be seen, heard, expand their audience and their impact is provided. Trisha worked in corporate America for 20 years, where she worked for Fortune 100 companies in the Silicon Valley. She held various positions over the years including Executive Assistant, Onboarding Manager, Corporate Internal Life Coach, and Business Operations Analyst. In each role, she had a consistent passion to impact many lives. There are so any things that inspire me. One thing that inspires me is when we can come together for a common goal and accomplishing it, really inspires me. We recently did some filming with a new team for my TV show. It was inspiring, encouraging and fun to be in an environment where people are supportive of each other. Everyone is focused We recently filmed for “The Trisha Garrett Show” on BriteLite TV Channel and it was an amazing day of interviewing the guest. The videographer had a wonderful disposition as well as others at the location. It was inspiring because everyone was in service to each other. There was a common goal where each individual was doing their best so that our viewer can have the best experience of their own transformation. That’s why I do what I do, to transform lives, so that people can live the lives they deserve and desire. That is extremely inspiring for me. My biggest obstacles I have had to overcome was me and my self-doubt. There were many changes that needed to happen in my life because I was not happy but I was content. On the outside, everything looked great. On the inside, I was unhappy and terrified of any major change. I became sick and tired of letting the same supporting stories so that I could remain unhappy and content. Then one day I decided to change my story. I began to speak the desires of my heart. As I continued to do that I began to trust myself and as the trust grew, I began to make small changes. As the trust grew the changes grew. To where I am now a TV Channel owner, impacting lives around the globe! As women, we sometimes feel like we have to do it all or we simply find ourselves in situations where we are doing it all. My advice is in the mist of it all, do not forget about you. You are the most important factor in this equation. Make sure that you are taking care of yourself. It can be challenging but you can do it. Be intentional about your self-care. Carve out 15-30 minutes just for you per day. Make sure you are doing the basics. Getting plenty of rest at and drinking lots of water throughout the day. Just those two things can be a game changer in how you feel.

I am excited that BriteLite TV Channel and The Trisha Garrett Show launched on RHG Network March 1, 2017. We are providing programing the will inspire, educate, empower and transform the lives of our viewers. Weekly, we have featured guest experts for various topics that reinforces to our viewers that they matter, they are enough and they are empowered to live the life they desire. What do you want to accomplish in 2017?

There’s a couple of things that I would like to accomplish in 2017. Attract heart-centered TV Host – People or organizations that desire to have their own TV Talk Show creating a win/win for everyone involved. There are a lot of hurting people in our world. Many people desperate for words of encouragement, hope, education and seeking transformation. I realize I am limited as an individual in the number of lives that I alone can impact. However, when we come together, we can make a lasting bigger impact on the lives of hurting people, communities. That’s why I decided to invest in the TV Channel. It immediately opened the doors for a partnership with heart-centered people or organizations that: a. Know that they are called to do transformational work b. Desire to build community c. Value collaboration d. Looking for visibility and their message on a larger platform e. Desire to monetize their efforts

Continue to grow the village where people feel safe and supported. Remain close to the heartbeat of our viewers to ensure that we continue to provide programing that is relevant now. Where the viewers know that they are not alone. We gottcha!! Connect with Trisha: www.britelitetv.com and go to Comments section. https://www.facebook.com/BriteLiteTV/

Spotlight Arlene Major

come in the morning!

My name is Arlene Major. My blog and radio personality name is Lady Blue. I am a newly married mother of four who is originally from New Mexico (Albuquerque) and now resides in Baltimore, MD. I love to write and I love being positive. I have been thru some personal struggles that have allowed me to grow, forgive and start what many consider my ministry now. My platform is bringing positive inspiration to others for that Spark in their day. Whether thru word or deed, we all have the capacity to forgive and help others find their true purpose in life. I am also a domestic violence survivor who is not afraid to tell her story. I host an annual event called 50 Shades of Blue where we gather to share our stories and information and offer a type of sanctuary to others who may be going thru or are not sure if others will understand their story. I love what I do. I always say.... weeping may endure for a night but JOY does

I am inspired by my children and my husband. I am also inspired when I see others doing something that puts a smile on people’s faces and not seeking to be glamorous about it. We all have blessings that need to be shared. We all know someone who is a blessing. Those are the acts that make an impact and need to be seen and heard. I love watching others shine where they thought they had no voice. The smiles are priceless. As I stated before I am currently working behind the scenes to put together my 3rd Annual 50 Shades of Blue Domestic Violence Stories. I am working to release my personal story called Lady Blue Print and have coauthored on two books. One with Lucy Owens from Australia and the other with Teresa Hawley Howard (Women On a Mission). I have a poetry volume that is out on Amazon called Vibe in Blue. My work now is on my website ladyblue1.com and every Thursday on my morning radio show, The Lady Blue Radio Show live on WMSKonlineradio.com, talk radio just got better! I have overcome domestic violence (my story is on my site under You Brought It on Yourself) I have dealt with victim mentality I have lost friends dear to me and dealt with the ugly aftermath

I have seen aids and cancer devastate my family. I have learned forgiveness I was divorced for over 20 years before my current and wonderful husband. I have overcome fear and being able to talk directly with others I have overcome family dissention and my desire to please everyone before taking care of myself. Believe in yourself. That is easy said. You are the embodiment of your dreams. We as women also have to understand that every accomplishment (not just your own) is a victory for each one of us. We empower each other and as we empower each other we build a foundation that is solid and unstoppable. The release of my book is important. I also envision partnering with a few other entities to bring my event outside the Baltimore area. Domestic Violence has gone silent long enough and we need this taboo subject to come out and be heard. One of my goals is to meet Steve Harvey and Tyler Perry and discuss my book and possibly have them become partners or advocates for my cause.

I am all across social media. My website ladyblue1.com where you can subscribe and follow and e up to date on latest blogs and events. Why Creating Your Ideal Client Avatar Makes All the Difference One of the biggest frustrations I see from entrepreneurs is finding their people, their customers, their tribe. They want customers and they want them NOW. So, I ask them who their ideal client is. The answer is usually something along the lines of “people who have skin”. Great answer, but unfortunately, when you start trying to market to everyone, you end up selling to absolutely no one. People get totally confused about what it is that you’re selling and how they can buy from you. In fact, when you get super specific about who your ideal client is and who your target audience is, then your sales usually increase drastically! You start to attract not only your own ideal client, but you also start to attract other types of clients as well. It’s really odd. I’ve seen the research, but I’ve experienced it over and over again in my business. When I focus my marketing on service-based female entrepreneurs (and how could Leadership Girl be any more focused on female entrepreneurs?), I still end up with about 40% of my customers being male. I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t experienced the situation first hand -- despite all of the research that points exactly in that direction. So, how do you figure out who that ideal client is? Sit down and start writing a full description of a fictional person who is your ideal client. Is it a male or female? How old? What are their hobbies? What kind of music do they like? What kinds of clothes do they buy? Where do they get their hair cut? What are their favorite brands? Do they eat at home all of the time? Or do they eat out occasionally? The more details you can fill in, the better your marketing will be because you will understand your ideal client’s pain points, their loves, their desires, and their dislikes. You can then speak their language when marketing to them. This is the most important first step that you have to take to find clients in your business. It’s not a sexy one, but the more time you spend here, the better your business is going to do in the long run. You may have multiple ideal clients. Take the time to fully understand each of them, and market to each of them individually. Try it out. I bet you’ll be surprised at how well it works!

The 10 Simple Steps I Took To Overcoming Depression By Karen Slaton Kennedy Presented are tips that I used in my life to help me overcome a 13-year battle with depression. Use these tips and use them often. I promise these tips will you help you become a happier, healthier person. This formula changed my life!

Step 1. Take a walk! I would walk every day. It could be 20 degrees ad Ide still be outside walking. I'd bundle up and walk. Walk no less than 10-15 minutes a day. It's best when it is sunny outside so you can absorb that healthy vitamin D. P.s Night walks can also be relaxing. Step 2. Forgive others and forgive yourself. When I forgave others and myself, I felt better, even if someone didn't deserve my forgiveness, I still did it anyway. I learned that I could not have happiness in my heart when I held onto unforgiveness. Even if I didn't receive an apology. I still forgave. Step 3. Journal. I journaled a lot. I wrote everything down that bothered me. Keep a paper and pen handy wherever you go. Jot down everything that bothers you. Release and let go. Step 4. Take time our for yourself. I took time out for myself whenever I could. The world can be a very noisy place and sometimes you can't hear yourself think! Find a place quiet. During this time, read, meditate, exercise, connect with your spiritual side. Step 5. Connect with others and become your own best friend. Treat yourself the way you would want to be treated. Do things that make you happy. Step 6. Stay away from negative people. If you live with them and you just can't seem get away. My suggestion, use ear buds, play music, believe me, this helps! Also connect with positive people. Make this a priority.

Step 7. Engage in random acts of kindness. Make it your goal to put a smile on someone elses face. Be polite, hold the door, compliment someones hair, eyes, smile. Volunteer. Visit an orphanage or a soup kitchen. Pay for someone's meal at the drive through. Do random surprises for others and do them often! I promise, At the end of the night, it will be a smile on your face. Step 8. Make room for creativity. I wrote stories. Creating a fantasy world on paper can be very therapeutic. You can draw, paint, design, build, create anything you want! If you don't know how to do something but you want to know, search the internet, there are plenty of people out there who are teaching classes in areas you want to learn and sometimes you can find the classes for free! Do whatever it is that you enjoy doing. Find a way to do it! www.TributeMagazine.net

36

Step 9. Read. Learn something new every day. Constantly strive to expand your mind. Knowledge is power. Be open minded. Get rid of that old recording in your head that you learned from when you were young. Our brains are like sponges, from the time we are babies we learn from our environments. Sit back and watch your parents behaviors, think about your childhood. What did your parents say or do all the time? Are you doing the same things as they did? Keep what you learned that you liked from them (attitudes and habits) and get rid of the things that you do not like. Discard and replace. Recreate yourself and your life the way you want it to be! Think about the time when you were most happy. Get reconnected with that person. Step 10. Copy this article. Put it on the refrigerator or frame it. Keep it in a place where you will see it often. Make it your life mission to follow these steps always. This formula, my friends can change your life. It did mine! A quote, I would like to leave you with, written by me "You can be happy when shoes are flying over your head" If I can be happy with shoes flying over my head and be healed from a debilitating 13 year depression, you can too! God Bless. Karen Slaton Kennedy.

Spotlight Shirley Dalton An Aussie TV and radio show host, business educator, executive and leadership coach who works with small business owners, entrepreneurs, leaders and managers to help them create their ideal business lifestyles. Shirley's mission in life and promise to her clients is to inspire, educate and support you to be, do, have and feel what you want. Shirley's passion in life is personal development - hers and everyone else’s. She can walk past fashion, shoes, clothing, makeup and handbags, but she can't walk past a book shop or the opportunity to improve herself. As a result, her clients benefit from her 40+ years of learning. In her client's words, she has a "Mary Poppins Bag" of tools, techniques and strategies to help clients identify what it is they want and then be able to achieve it. Her leadership students refer to each other as having been "Shirleyfied", meaning they have a new way of communicating with people and increased self-awareness. Not only has she studied with the best herself, but she interviews top experts in business, mindset and personal development to help her audience achieve their goals. Shirley doesn't look to have work life balance, rather she believes in harmony, hence the infinity sign in her logo for the constant dynamic shift between business and personal life. My biggest Obstacle: Biggest obstacle was not feeling good enough. I always felt I had to learn more, know more, be more. Finally, realizing that we are on a continuous journey and that I do know enough has helped me to have the confidence to show up and put myself out there. I would be given opportunities in the past but not take advantage of them because I didn't feel qualified or experienced enough, which was not true, rather a limiting belief I held for myself, which well and truly limited me. It has taken me 40+ years to realize I am good enough and I do have something of value to offer people. I am inspired by people. I love learning about people, I love hearing their stories. I am inspired by my clients as I witness their transformation, it inspires me to continue with my own.
