Cover Spotlight Lorraine Giordano “We are constantly invited to be who we are” ~ Henry David Throreau
My name is Lorraine Giordano and for two decades, I suffered with mysterious health issues. In 2008, at forty, I learned the truth about the root cause of my dis-ease due to a routine female medical procedure. This revelation explained many mysteries I'd experienced in those two decades. I’m writing a memoir about my experience and will share intimate details soon. A few days later my gynecologist told me I would need to have my uterus removed due to the threat of cancer.
Not willing to give up my uterus, I put Operation Save Uterus into action, and during the course a year I worked with 10 alternative healers who taught me to align my mind-body and spirit and reclaim my health. As a holistic healer, with my uterus intact, I birthed my healing practice — Inspired To Health (www.inspiredtohealth.net) in 2012 and shape-shifted from a Business Analyst in the financial industry into guiding women (and men) to connect to their own healing ability. I’m also passionate about shifting existing taboos related to female reproductive health and blocked energy we hide “down there” through my blog, workshops and hosting, The Womb Happy Hour online radio show on Voice America Health & Wellness.
In 2008 I saved my uterus from a hysterectomy due to the threat of cancer. By reclaiming my health and
taking responsibility for my choices it transformed my life in miraculous ways and enable to help others connect to their healing ability. I’m want my circle of influence to expand more in 2020 and receive additional abundance. I will finish writing my memoir in 2020. WRITING YOUR BOOK
1) Decide what you will write Go with what you know most about and are most passionate about. This way you will be both engaging and authentic. As a non-fiction author, people expect truth, either from your experience or knowledge so you need to write with authority on your subject matter Your non-fiction book can help to position you as an expert in your field, open doors in your career including speaking engagements, as well as gain you more clients, so choose a topic that you want to be associated with now and in the future, rather than a past endeavor that is no longer current. Write what’s relevant to your target readership. You can do this in many ways for example by addressing a problem or need, clearing up an area of ambiguity, presenting new information, or presenting existing information in a fresh way by applying it to different contexts. When I wrote my book, I decided to base it on the topic I’m most passionate about and have significant experience on, which is How to Start a Business. I knew my content would be relevant to my target readership because I used each chapter to address the questions I get asked most frequently, especially when I’m speaking at conferences, which is a strong indication of what my target audience would like to know. 2) Make a chapter plan Flesh out a plan for each chapter at the beginning of the writing project. Your chapter plan should include the topics you are going to cover within in each chapter and as well as the subtopics, and any examples you plan to use to support your concepts, theories and ideas. A chapter plan can take many forms, while some prefer flow charts or lists, others prefer spider diagrams or mind maps. As long as you can read and understand your plan for each chapter then it’s right for you. Your plan enables you to know where you’re heading with your book so that you write in a focused manner and don’t go off on a tangent. Also, by making a plan at the beginning of your project, you are less likely to dry up or run out of words as you progress. When you’ve finished writing about the topics in the first section of the plan, you simply tick the off and move on to writing the next topic that you’ve earmarked. This is particularly useful if you’ve taken a break in your writing for any length of time, you always now where you left off and can resume quickly. 3) Make a time plan, the shorter the better With many fiction authors spending years penning their books, non-fiction deadlines need to be shorter simply because we are living in a digital age with knowledge advancing at breakneck speed. Taking years
to write a non-fiction book could render it’s concepts out of date pretty quickly. As a general rule of thumb, aim for three to six months to complete your first full draft and aim to publish within the year. You can always release a new, updated version later. 4) Buddy Up! Writing a book can be a lonely business. It can be a great help to have a like-minded person to be accountable to. This could be anyone, but preferably someone who is also undertaking or has undertaken a writing project as they will be able to empathize with you and find mutual encouragement. Being able to pick up the phone for a chat, or meeting up for a coffee can go a long way to lightening the writing process. Discussing your writing targets with your buddy will keep them at the forefront of your mind and spur you on.. When I made progress, it was great to have buddies to celebrate with knowing I was spurring them on too. I found my buddies on the writing course I attended and still enjoy keeping in touch even though I’ve now completed my book. 5) Don’t look back Once you have your chapter plans in place, start writing and keep going forward. Don’t look back to reread what you’ve written or you might keep tweaking it and risk getting stuck in ‘tweaking mode’. Instead, finish writing out all that you have in your plans so that you complete the first draft of your manuscript. Once you have your manuscript, you can re-read it in order to tweak, improve, rephrase and tighten up in places. Once you’ve improved your manuscript as best you can you are ready to send it to ‘beta readers’. Beta readers are people in your target audience that will give you their honest opinion on your work. Be open minded about the comments you receive back and use them to polish your draft to the best it can be getting it to final status, ready for a professional editor. I sent my manuscript to five beta readers. I gave them a timescale of 2 weeks to feedback so as not to unduly lengthen my project, and thank fully all obliged. All of my beta readers provided invaluable feedback albeit in different forms. 6) Use a professional editor A second set of eyes and editing is a must! 7) Include references back to your website Within your book, make sure you ask readers to refer back to your website for information that you would like to include in your book but are conscious may be subject to change or date quickly, e.g. references to legislation or professional associations. That way you can update the information on the website rather than having to re-submit files of your book. Directing people back to your website also means that people will be more likely to sign up for your newsletter and you’ll be able to communicate with them directly over time. For non-fiction writers, this is
important as extra revenue will come from speaking engagements or sale of other products/services. 8) Produce both paperback and eBook Where my non-fiction book is concerned, I’ve sold more paperbacks than eBooks which is common if you have a speaking platform or a physical community of people to market to. 9) Get a great looking cover that is suitable for your genre Non-fiction books tend to have simpler cleaner looking covers versus fiction, some simply with text. Browse the bestselling books in your genre to understand what works well then work with a professional designer to ensure your book stands out in a crowded market. 10) Celebrate your success, but don’t put your feet up for too long!

Spotlight Tyrone Neal We only live once, but if we do it right, come on y'all once is enough. Live better! My name is Tyrone Neal and I'm founder and creator of the Bully Me To Sleep movement. I'm just an ordinary person who is fed up with the direction our youth is heading. I want us to be better, and for us to be better we have to do better. I've grew up in some of the toughest cities in America and I witnessed a lot. I don't like a lot of things that I have seen or heard about and I'm here to make my stance. My mission is to get an army of people like me to tackle this task with. I'm a new author, born and raised in the Bronx, New York. I also grew up in place I do call home as well in Newport R.I and Baltimore MD. I grew up in the inner cities of them states and I have been on both sides of the law. I'm on the lawful and good sides now and have been for some time but I would love to help change a lot of things I've witnessed in this cold world.
Tell us about your Business. I have a book and clothing line out. I also lead an anti-bullying movement which is building by the minute. ‘Bully Me To Sleep’ is the title to all three endeavors which I'm the sole proprietor for. The movement and stance is to get as many people on board as possible to help eliminate this disgusting bullying epidemic.
What Inspires You? Anything and anyone who makes a change for the better. I'm inspired by togetherness and equality. I'm inspired when I can change a negative into a positive in any aspect of life for me or someone else that inspires me.
What are Your Future Plans? My plans are to bring togetherness to our youth and young adults as much as I can. No matter how indifferent we may be, we are all one people. I want to teach the world and start community by community that we can coexist. No matter race, age, gender, sexuality, preferences or style, we are all one.
What would you like to be remembered for? Making a change in the culture; Making it comfortable for our youth to go to school and come out in their communities without getting bullied or picked on. School is supposed to be a safe haven for our children; A place where they go to learn, network and make friends. Not a place where you dread to go because of bullying and humiliation. My life goal is to help bring bullying awareness to our youth.
What would you like to Spotlight? I want to spotlight my book which is an amazing read. There are a few typos because I was deceived by my publisher because it doesn't take away from the great story. I put my heart into that project and every reader so far confirms that. Not one negative review and so much praise, I admit I had to pat myself on the back. I also have ‘hoodies,’ ‘hats,’ and ‘t-shirts;’ which I sell to help spread and support the movement. Good comfortable quality and affordable prices. Also, I'm in talks with a couple of business men on turning the book into a movie or a series with a second book coming.
Tell us about something you overcame. Street life! I was never a bad guy I was always genuine and loyal. But as a young black man my opportunities were limited, especially as an ex con who was locked up at the young age of 17. It was easy to turn to the streets with very little opportunities. But I overcame them obstacles a long time ago and changed my life for the better, and I'm just starting to write my story.
What would you like to Achieve? Greatness, I want to be great at what I do. I want me and my movement to be
remembered, remembered forever! When I'm dead and gone I want it to still go on. That's the type of mark I want to leave in this world. Bully Me To Sleep Tyroneneal1454@gmail.com Bullymetosleep@gmail.com Instagram: Bullymetosleep (M#) 718-503-8336 Bullymetosleep@gmail.com (#) 718-503-8336

Spotlight Bill Bloom “Write from the heart and don’t be afraid to speak your mind.” “Share your vision.” “You never know who you could help with your thoughts and ideas! Get them out to the world. Don’t wait!”
Bill Bloom is a Father, Husband, Sailor, Traveler, Author, Business Owner and Creative Thinker.
When we asked Bill, what inspired him to write his book, he responded “I love working with boaters and their retirement planning. They are so fun to work with because I am a sailor myself. We speak the same language. So, I put this book together to help boaters keep their yachting lifestyle in retirement!” What do you want others to get out of your book?
“Knowledge,” “It is possible to have a fun and exciting retirement. “You need to plan to have income streams to cover your fixed expenses every month so that you could enjoy your time and not worry about where your income will come from!”
“My audience would be Boaters, Yachters, Sail Boaters, Racing Sailors.” We asked Bill if he was planning another book and he said, “Yes, “Retire As You Desire” and another book that we are working on.

Spotlight Cathy Davis
“Start with one sentence or perhaps a brain dump. Then hire professionals who can help you bring it to your audience.”
Cathy Davis is the Founder/CEO of Davis Creative, LLC. Cathy founded Davis Creative 16 years ago, in January of 2004, after a corporate career as a Creative Director at a Global Financial Institution. As a Creative Imagineer, Cathy helps experts and small business owners use the power of publishing as a marketing tool to grow their businesses. What inspired you to write your book? “Many of our authors are small business owners or solo-preneurs quite often coming to the table with smaller budgets. We began offering Anthology programs about 10 years ago, where authors are only responsible submitting ONE chapter vs. an entire book.” “This allows them to “tip-toe” into to the world of being a published author without a major time-nor financial-commitment.” “They reap the rewards of being able to call themselves a published author, begin to attract more new business, and quite often gain the confidence to write an entire book of their own.”
What do you want others to get out of your book? “Entrepreneurs, especially women, tend to isolate and not step out of their comfort zone. The women authors in the Fearless and Fabulous anthology have all seen defeat, found new ways of working at their businesses, and through grit and determination, found their way to success.” {Women who read this book will not only find their tribe, they will find women who understand what it’s like to be at the bottom, bounce back, and learn to love themselves again!” “My audience would be Women who have perhaps had a successful career, or maybe chose to stay at home and focus on family while the kids were little. Perhaps they experienced a life-changing event by way of a divorce or the death of a loved one. It may also be because they have felt the urge to work for themselves, and finally feel that NOW is the time for to make a change in their life, take a leap of faith, and become an entrepreneur.” Are you planning another book?
We sponsor two anthologies per year, the second one for 2020 is called, “Engaging Experts” (for men and women) and will come out in the Fall.

Choosing
These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full ~John 15:11
Def: Joy /joi/ feeling of great pleasure and happiness. "Tears of Joy"
The term happiness is used in the context of mental or emotional states, including positive or pleasant emotions ranging from contentment to intense Joy. It is also used in the context of life satisfaction, subjective well-being, flourishing and well-being. It can also be said that Joy can be a core value and that Heaven conducts its most serious business in an atmosphere of Joy. Joy brings a heavenly atmosphere, into the reality of our daily lives, and this triumphant Joy brings victory in every circumstance. ... Joy, as a spiritual quality, lasts forever. We always have it. Having joy includes feeling good cheer and a vibrant happiness. But joy, in its fuller, spiritual meaning of expressing God's goodness, involves more. It is a deep-rooted, inspired happiness.
“Joy is the settled assurance that God is in control of all the details of our life, the quiet confidence that ultimately everything is going to be alright, and the determined choice to praise God in every situation.”
Is Joy a gift of the Spirit?
The Fruit of the Holy Spirit is a biblical term that sums up nine attributes of a person or community living in accord with the Holy Spirit, according to Chapter 5 of the Epistle to the Galatians: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. ... Why is Joy important in life?
Research shows that joyful people experience less chance of having a heart attack, lower cholesterol, decreased stress levels and longer lives. Joy is imperative for boosting our resilience and wellbeing. It gives us the strength and energy we need to do our important work in the world. We feel Joy in our bodies because of the release of dopamine and serotonin, two types of neurotransmitters in the brain. Both of these chemicals are heavily associated with happiness (in fact, people with clinical depression often have lower levels of serotonin.)
What are the characteristics of Joy?
What emerges are commonly felt qualities of joy, five of which I will share with you now. •
Joy is Constant. When people tune in to the feeling of joy, what often emerges is an awareness that this joy is somehow always with us. ...
•
Joy Inspires Creativity. ...
•
Joy is Often Unreasonable. ...
•
Joy is Untroubled. ...
•
Joy is Enough. …
Joy brings many benefits to our daily and spiritual lives. Joy is a far more dynamic force than most of us realize. It has the power to reignite our passion for laughter and celebration. It can free us to rise above endless demands as we become more content and thankful. It can change unchangeable circumstances and bring a peace rooted in the remarkable love of God. There’s a deeper power and purpose to this mighty virtue. When you feel stuck in the rut of discouragement, there’s no greater gift than rediscovering joy. Paul said he gloried in his many sufferings, because he knew that “suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and hope. And hope does not disappoint because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit.” Paul’s hope, birthed out of suffering for the Gospel, produced joy, as described in Romans 15:13, my favorite verse of all about hope and joy: “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” The Hebrew word for ‘oil’ as in ‘oil of jo y’ is the same word used for ‘perfume.’ Not only does the ‘oil of joy’ make life go more smoothly, it also releases a sweet fragrance that changes atmospheres. May you overflow with the joy of the Lord this week! Spotlight Christine Morgan “If you don’t like where you are, keep going, because eventually you will end up somewhere different. ~Christine Morgan
My name is Christine Morgan. I am an apostolic and prophetic Evangelist who travels domestically and internationally around the world preaching the Gospel and doing the tangible works of Jesus Christ. I love spending time with my family and friends, watching action and superhero movies, hanging out with my relatives in Louisiana, and visiting my friends in various states. * Christine Morgan is an International Evangelist with a strong prophetic gifting and her meetings are marked by demonstrations of Power and the Presence of God; with people being saved, healed and delivered through a personal encounter with Jesus Christ. Her unique ministry focuses on bringing a current, relevant, transformational now Word so that the name of Jesus is lifted high and the Holy Spirit has the freedom to move resulting in miracles, signs and wonders following. She travels internationally preaching; working along national missionaries and pastors, churches and organizations - bringing the gospel of Jesus Christ wherever she goes. Her desire is to see the name of Jesus lifted high and to empower the next generation leader through empowering, training and releasing them to reach their nations for Christ.
Christine currently resides in Kingwood, Texas. She is the missionary evangelist of Dayspring Church in Porter, TX. She has a B.S. in evangelism and missions and a M.A. in practical theology from Oral Roberts University; a Doctorate in Leadership from New Covenant University; and is an Ordained Evangelist with the Assemblies of God, South Texas District. “I would like to highlight my new and upcoming book Destined to Lead and the Generation that will Follow.” “This is my first published book, which was literally downloaded into my spirit by the Lord in January 2018 as the focus of my Doctoral Dissertation. God spoke to me and gave me a rundown of the topics I was to write about.” “So the book’s main focus is on transformational leadership, how if today’s generation of Christian leaders do not stand up and take their place in history – who will carry on the mandate and legacy of Jesus Himself and the generations that have gone before?” “There is an entire generation in our midst, and I am counted among them, that are crying out desperately for real, genuine, Godly men and women to train, mentor, empower, and release them in this hour. Therefore, spiritual mothers and fathers must arise from unknown and known places and depths to guide this next wave of spiritual transformation and renewal.” “Back in October 2005 I was involved in a car accident resulting in me obtaining a brain and neck injury. Despite the new daily health and medical problems that followed, I knew that God had already healed me but I kept waiting on the manifestation.” “Over those years I had neck surgery; pain management with shots in my neck, head, and shoulders; several rounds of physical therapy; and struggled to make sense of my life. Everything changed in that one event and I didn’t think my life would ever be the same. “ “I knew God had a plan for my life, but I had no earthly idea how it would ever come about or if I would be able to return to school or eventually work – it was hard to see past my circumstance. During all of that time my mother told me that my situation was temporary not permanent, but despite what she said, I felt like in many ways that my life would never be the same.” In 2009 I moved to Tulsa, OK, and enrolled at Oral Roberts University, where I graduated with honors in 2011, then I completed my Master’s with honors in 2013, and in June 2018 I graduated with
my
Doctorate
while
traveling
and
doing
international
ministry.
“ I still deal with some health issues on a daily basis but I decided a long time ago that nothing
will keep me from fulfilling the call of God on my life. Doors to hostile nations have opened and I have literally seen so many people saved, healed, delivered; set free mentally, emotionally, and spiritually; and restored through a personal encounter with Jesus Christ. My ministry is marked by accurate prophetic insight, demonstrations of power as the Holy Spirit moves through me, uncompromising and anointed preaching, healings and miracles, and seeing lives transformed with just one touch. God has truly proven Himself faithful countless times. Therefore, I too can encourage others to live fully for Christ.” “In 2019 I would like to officially set up a permanent ministry office with space to launch my ministry’s new YouTube channel and start a Ministry Training Center and Ministry Alliance for those who are called to the five-fold ministry. (Eph. 4:11). My desire is to train, empower, direct, mentor, and then launch those who are called by God but are not being given the opportunity to walk in their calling and ministry in the local church”

Spotlight Dr. Cheryl Lentz I am, author, scholar, keynote speaker, business owner, and university professor, known as The Academic Entrepreneur. What inspired you to write your book? “The challenge with doctoral level research is its length and its complexity. Few want to invest the time to dig deeper into a 300+ page academic study. Hence, much of this amazing research gets stuck in the hallowed halls of academia.” “I wanted to change this. My passion is to get doctoral research off the coffee table and out of the hallowed halls of academia to reach a broader audience, particularly within the business community. Our goal is to build a bridge to connect those who conduct academic research with the business people in search of answers.” “Our mission is to offer a premier publishing solution for doctoral scholars to publish their research in an easy to understand format to reach beyond the walls of academia into the business communities to provide answers to many of the questions business leaders ask.” “The topic of project management is fascinating as it is simply a way of using systems to achieve one’s goals.” “Whether an astronaut or a teacher; we all use systems to ensure that we accomplish all that we are hired to do. Why not learn more about how to create effective systems to work smarter, not harder?”
“This peer-reviewed publication offers readers insights and solutions to various challenges within project management.”“Our hope is for you to find answers regarding these unique challenges managers and leaders face in finding effective strategies to enhance workflow and productivity. Within these pages, scholars offer insights regarding new and emerging trends in project management, successful project management strategies in healthcare, considerations in enterprise wide cyber-threats, preventing wastes of project costs and schedules using purposeful knowledge management, defining outsourcing and off-shoring, care coordination models in accountable care organizations (ACOs), enhancing group dynamics and project success through the situational leadership lens, strategies for hiring your perfect project management, and the impact of educational curriculum design. Let these scholars’ help you find more effective ways forward.” “Our primary audience is students and faculty attending institutions of higher learning. The Refractive Thinker® series also appeals to business owners and leaders –specific project managers for this volume--who seek answers to the questions many doctoral scholars ask in their research.” “We are matchmakers—to connect those asking the questions with those who have found the answers.” We asked if they were planning another book and her response was. “Yes, our next book in the series will be ‘The Refractive Thinker® Volume XIX: Social Media: Changing the World Through Communication,’ with a publishing date of July 2020.” You can find this amazing book on Amazon.com, as well as Barnes and Noble.com Be sure to join us for our Book Signings perhaps toward the end of summer 2020. We asked Yvonne what inspired her to write her book.
“Education and research are passions of mine. In this age of accountability and increase in diverse student populations, states are pushing schools for results, yet the state developed curriculum is not inclusive for the success of all learners.” “The goal of this writing was to equivocate these
fundamentals of project management and education demonstrating their impact within the educational process of curriculum design and its impact through the achievement of programmatic and course learning objectives.” “The question of importance for education is how to provide a learner centric focus to ensure that students learn what educators intend to teach to provide a solid degree education to prepare graduates for what they will face in society personally and professionally.” My audience would be Stakeholders of education. We asked Dr, Yvonne if she was planning another book and she responded, “Not now, but certainly in the future.” You can find Dr. Yvonne L. What inspired you to write your book? "Epic Business” reveals 30 secrets I learned from some of the world's top entrepreneurs and how he applied them to building his company. This list of 30 things I’ve learned was built over my years as an entrepreneur and was originally meant for a social media post to inspire others. But so many high-level folks told me it should be a book – and others even printed out the list and brought it to our meetings as a surprise – that I knew it was much bigger than just a conversation starter on LinkedIn and Face book.
What do you want others to get out of your book?
“With the help of countless others and using these 30 tips, I have built an international business working with some of the most amazing visionary people in the world. All I want is for others to achieve this kind of success – and have this kind of incredible joy in their lives.” “For those who are entrepreneurs or hopeful entrepreneurs, I’m going to go into great detail of the exhilarating, excruciating, deflating, inspirational, mind-blowing, you-can-jump-out-of-a-plane ride that this life has to offer. I am holding nothing back … because followings see the highs but most don’t understand the lows.”
What is one thing you would tell others if they want to write?
“If you ask me for help, I will help you.”
Justin Breen’s amazing book will be available on Amazon on May 19, 2020 and in soft cover later in the summer. Please visit www.BrEpicBusiness.com for more information, including preorders!

Spotlight Millie Lee
My name is Millie Lee. I am an integrative cardiologist in New York City. I became a cardiologist, specifically an interventional cardiologist because I wanted to “fix” patients with heart disease. For nearly 20 years, I followed the standard of care in conventional medicine and treated thousands of patients with heart disease. As an interventional cardiologist, I implanted many stents in patients with heart attacks and severe coronary artery disease. I came to realize, however, that I wasn’t really “fixing” heart disease with these procedures and medications because most patients had not altered their lifestyles in any significant way and their risk factors remained the same putting them at very high risk for recurrent events and death. I realized that it was not their fault…that we, the healthcare system had failed them and due to the constraints of our system, the focus wasn’t as strongly focused on their lifestyles. So, I decided to change how I practice cardiology, taking the necessary time to get to the root causes of heart disease, which are all modifiable and very often reversible with lifestyle changes. What inspired you to write your book? “I wrote the book, “Your Heart Health is in Your Hands” to enlighten as many people as I can that heart disease is preventable through simple lifestyle choices.” “People need to know what their
risk factors are and what they can do to reverse them and prevent heart disease, the number # 1 cause of death in the world.” “I would like readers to understand that they may be at risk for heart disease (half of all Americans have at least one risk factor) but that the risk can be properly identified and measures taken to prevent the development of heart disease.” “I also share with readers easy lifestyle changes that can readily be incorporated into their lives right away.” “Making healthy choices don’t have to be hard or punitive, taking small but smart steps can have a big impact on your health.” “My audience is any adult who may be concerned about their heart health. The book will be of interest to you if you have heart disease, a family history of heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, high cholesterol, autoimmune disease, and if you smoke, are overweight, sedentary and eat the standard American diet.” “Heart disease is the #1 cause of death in the world. As I mentioned, half of all Americans have at least one risk factor for heart disease.” We asked Millie Lee if she was planning another book and she responded, “Not yet.” You can find Millie Lee’s book, everywhere. It will be in Bookstores, and Amazon; there will be a kindle edition as well.
We asked Millie what is one thing you would tell others if they want to write. “If you think you have something important to share with the world, write and share it. We can all learn from each other.” “For me, the process of writing was not only fun, it was a great opportunity for personal growth and I am eternally grateful to my publisher, Rebecca Hall Gruyter for making the experience an enjoyable one.”
