The Epistle of Grace Part Ten “Sons of God,Part 2” Clark Whitten Galatians 3:26, NASB - For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. Galatians 4:4-7, NASB - But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, 5 so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. 6 Because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” 7 Therefore you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God. John 17:4 - I have glorified You on earth by completing the work which You gave Me to do. I have revealed Your name to the men You gave Me from the world. John 14:9, NASB - He who has seen Me has seen the Father. Luke 11:1-2, NASB - It happened that while Jesus was praying in a certain place, after He had finished, one of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray just as John also taught his disciples.” 2 And He said to them, “When you pray, say: ‘Father, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come.’” Matthew 6:31-33, NASB - “Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ 32 For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” John 14:6, NASB - “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” Matthew 20:28, NASB - “…just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” John 13:4-8, 14, 34, NASB - [He] got up from supper, and laid aside His garments; and taking a towel, He girded Himself. 5 Then He poured water into the basin, and began to wash the disciples’ feet and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded. 6 So He *came to Simon Peter. He *said to Him, “Lord, do You wash my feet?” 7 Jesus answered and said to him, “What I do you do not realize now, but you will understand hereafter.” 8 Peter *said to Him, “Never shall You wash my feet!” Jesus answered him, “If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me.” … 14 If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. … 34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. Psalm 23:4-6, NASB - Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows. 6 Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
