You’ve heard about this hot, new kitchen appliance. Maybe you got one as a gift but haven’t opened the box, now is the time! This course will get you comfortable with your electronic pressure cooker. Participants will be making and eating appetizers such as deviled eggs, fast rosemary ‘roasted’ potatoes and cocktail meatballs. Let’s keep the kitchen cool while eating well this summer by using the electric pressure cooker to quickly cook proteins and grains for hearty main dish salads. Join Kirsten in her kitchen via your computer or phone as she demonstrates Instant Pot Chicken Caprese Salad, Southwest Shrimp and Corn Salad, and Wild Rice Greek Salad. Breakfast Meal Prep Class
Set yourself up for a successful start to the day by preparing healthy breakfasts ahead of time. In this class I’ll use an Instant Pot electric multi-cooker to make Meat and Potato Lover’s Breakfast Bowls, Steel Cut Oats Five Ways and—for an easy on-the-go protein snack—two flavors of Egg Bites: Spinach Parm and Hearty Sausage. Family Puzzle Workshop
Pairs work cooperatively to assemble the frame and paint a 24-piece puzzle with interlocking pieces. Each puzzles comes blank and is sanded, assembled and painted in class. Due to virtual restrictions, each pair will need to provide their own tempura or acrylic paint. This class is suitable for ages 4+ and uses no hammer or nails. The price of this class is per pair and includes all materials besides paint. Please only have one person register for the class. TriDistrict Community Ed will deliver the materials needed for the classes (except of your own tempura or acrylic paint).
