The photographic essay by acclaimed photographer Bill Aron features rich selections that explore home and community life, Jewish traditions and sacred spaces. Aron brings to life the unique subculture of Jewish migration to the South. Through a series of photographs and text panels, discover the progression of Southern Jewish communities and the South's changing character. The exhibit displays Jewish Southerners not only thriving in both small-town communities and the larger cities, but also providing a significant contribution to the Southern culture.
