PRESIDENTS NOTE
Team TRINITY
2024 has begun with continued momentum strong project execution and a few organizational changes We announced the various role changes a couple weeks ago and everyone is settling into their new seats very well Special thanks go out to Steve Galles for his years of dedication and support as TRINITY has grown Although he wouldn’t like this kind of recognition, Steve has always had a steady hand at the wheel and kept the TRINITY flag safe We would be remiss not to celebrate Steve as he moves from full time to his consulting gig, so stay tuned
Last year ended strongly and our revenue exceeded any prior years Having said that, our profits were down based on several factors It is vital that we deliver our projects on schedule and within budget; the amount TRINITY has absorbed in General Conditions/General Requirements is staggering and can be directly attributed to schedule overruns and lingering punch lists In our Q4 message, we mentioned Process Improvement and Excellent Project Execution These terms are capitalized because they are part of TRINITY’s theme of Operational Excellence that John Barron presented in our Town Hall meeting in March Our projects are complex and challenging. Our Processes and Management must be equally sophisticated and professional John and Raymond have worked very hard together and will be reviewing project execution during their scheduled site visits Our Field Supervision and Project Management teams must work together to keep our “bottom line” (profit) growing along with our “top line” (revenue)
2024 is off to a great start We are preforming lots of safety management audits and site inspections We also like to start off the year will lots of training This includes confined spaces, trenching & excavations, hazard recognition and many others that team members are exposed to Team members are always learning and growing This is apart of the continuous safety improvement process we adopted Safety is always changing, and we strive to stay on top and grow as a team This is one of many items that make a greatsafetyculture “Alwaysbeaspongeandsoakupasmuchknowledgeasyoucan”Weareexcitedfor therestof2024 -JamesHartman
Given that our projects have increased in size, so must our continued focus on our SAFETY our program James is doing a great job of managing our SAFETY team, but we ALL make up the first line of defense Let’s uphold our duty and responsibility to each other and do everything we can to avoid incidents As we mentioned at our Town Hall, TRINITY has evolved significantly as a company Several new faces have joined the team, and we are optimistic for our future 2024 is off to a great start, and we can t be more grateful for the hard work our team members put in
