What does it mean for â&#x20AC;&#x153;real/normalâ&#x20AC;? urban identities to exist only when humans are absent? To what extent can an image of an urban space be produced that is impossible to produce? what is technology trying to tell us when we are not connected to the network?

VERSTEHEN (n.) “meaningful understanding”; the concept of putting yourself in the shoes of others in order to see things from their perspective and understand them better. "Verstehen" is a series of (4) publications under the Trinity Press born out of Trinity Theatre’s leadership labs and programming throughout the year exploring themes such as civics, business, environment, health, heritage, faith, and the arts umbrella. The first instalment is centred on the themes of "Civics" and "Business” as the Lab begins to navigate through their environment to learn more about themselves and their relationship with their greater communities. Drawing on the notion of a 'social flesh' to capture a vision of embodied subjects or embodied citizenship, we ask: what does it mean to be of service to one's greater community? More broadly, what does being a member of one's community entail?
