OCTOBER 2014 TO LANDSCAPE DESIGNER FEBRUARY 2015 ERVIN LOVETT MILLER (CHRIS OVERDORF) Landscape Designer on the San Diego Zoo, Africa Rocks project, specialized on the Penguin Exhibit. I worked from Design Development to Construction Documents, including details for wall texturing, mimicking textures that emulated the original areas of Africa. Marketing Skills: prepared proposals for public proposal requests, creating interesting, succinct presentations that successfully won projects. Graphic Skills: Adobe Creative Suite, Office, and CAD to create excellent communication pieces. Drafting: drafted in AutoCAD, created sketched concepts and evolved the ideas into final details for construction.

Spring Plants Graduate Fellow: Primary teacher for class of 14 graduate and undergraduate students in a plant identification course. Taught 2 classes per week. Principles of Applied Ecology Graduate Fellow: Teaching Fellow for class of 39 students in an intensive applied ecology course. Edible Campus Graduate Fellow: Managed 2 interns & multiple volunteers who contributed over 600 volunteer hours and created a community garden for students, run by students.
