In my spare time, I love to draw people using their photos. I turn them into somewhat realism (eh, not really, more like comic) art. sometimes, people interested in my drawing that they order it online. One of my best was reposted by the artist and got a lot of great feedback f rom a lot of people.





COVER ARTWORK


April in Motion is an Electronic Pop band that was formed back in April 2019. The concept of this artwork speak for itself, it’s an ocean glitter under the disguise of an abstract form and different point of views. This artwork was made entirely using Adobe Illustrator.

Mr. D Wrapid Food & Beverages Eat, Wrap and Go


Wrapid is a fast food restaurant based in Bekasi, Indonesia that specializes in wrapped food. Their slogan’s “Eat, Wrap, and Go” implies in how simple it is for a busy city people to have a good meal in just simple quick three steps. This logo was made entirely using Adobe Illustrator.


LOGO CONSTRUCTION & MEANING

Garis tak langsung yang mengarah ke atas kanan menandakan brand yang terus berkembang

Illustrasi makanan yang di wrap mengarah ke atas kanan sebagai pilar dari brand ini dan memberi kesan pergerakan yang cepat.

Gabungan garis lengkung dari nama brand, dan garis lurus dari illustrasi menggambarkan brand ini unik dan membawa sesuatu yang baru ke dalam dunia kuliner.

Nama brand menggunakan font yang cukup tebal menggambarkan Wrapid adalah brand yang berani.

Garis berulang pada huruf menggambarkan pergerakkan yang cepat dengan tetap memberi kesan simple dan bold, serta mengarah ke atas kanan mengikuti alur perkembangan dunia kuliner.

All sessions in this portfolio has its own uniqueness and titles. For example, the fi r s t o n e c a l l e d ‘ O n e F i n e D a y ’ i s a s t o r y o f a c o u p l e fi n e d a t e . The concept of their posts was minimalistic and elegant, a perfect balance between photos, text, and white spaces.

In 2019, I was part of Gleo Records as a Graphic Designer, and at that time one of their talent, Ghifarr was about to release his new song called Tanpa Kata. He had this vision of the song about how a boy wanted to be with a girl but he just kept silent when the c h a n c e t o t a l k h a s fi n a l l y a r r i v e d . I n e a r l y 2 0 2 0 i s w h e r e I s a t i s fi e d m y s e l f w i t h a m u s i c v i d e o t h a t I can really went all out with my ideals. There are some bumpy road in the making of this music video, such as the grading wasn’t turned out like the exact images in my head, but it still turned out pretty damn good for a person that wasn’t properly learned about videography and stuff. Fo r a s i m p l e animation like this, I personally think that it’s quite catches the eye like it should be for a promotional post. This post was meant for the release of my own band April in Motion the song was called Ocean Glitter, available on all streaming platform!

A months back I was asked by a f riend to made a promotional video for Victoria Green Residence located in Bekasi. The video i t s e l f w a s n ’ t r e l e a s e d y e t , i t w a s s t i l l o n t h e fi n i s h i n g p r o c e s s . T h e grading itself was too overexposured that I couldn’t do anything a b o u t , e v e n w h e n I t r i e d t o r e c o l o r i t a n d a d j u s t t h e r a w fi l e i n Adobe Premiere Pro. In this video, I mainly use symmetry and rule of thirds to achieve some sort of balance throughout the f rame.

TADAIMA

Tadaima and Maka are the same founder. When they hired me to work in their company, I was asked if I could handle two brands at once. So, here’s what I’ve been working on for the past one month of internship at their company.


MAKA


THANK YOU CARD M y fi r s t t a s k w h e n d o i n g i n t e r n a t T a d a i m a x M a k a w a s c r e a t i n g a thank you card for christmas hampers packages. Illustration wasn’t my strongest skill but this is what the illustration ended up, it takes inspiration f rom other illustrators as the base of the set and character design. This artwork has been recolored by other Graphic Designer there.





STORY PROMOTION For christmas purposes, Tadaima x Maka gave me a task to make stories template about their special christmas promotion and to introduce their product back to the game. There’s also menu for the customers to read in their highlighted stories and promotion for christmas hampers package.





INSTAGRAM POST Tadaima gave me a task to create a minimalistic post about their p r o d u c t . A t fi r s t t h e c l i e n t b r i e f w a s t h e y w a n t e d t o p u t a t a g l i n e for each of their product. But later it was changed and they wanted the post to be as simplistic as possible.



MENU Maka gave me a task to recreate their menu because the the old one’s text was too small so the customers would ask twice about the detail of their packages. The menu itself was for instagram story, so the sizes that I used are the old sizes (for the main menu) and the instagram story size (for the add ons).



CLOTHING Tadaima and Maka wanted a shirt designed for their worker. They wanted the shirt color to be either navy blue or turqoise. But then I realized that the color turqoise didn’t match either Tadaima or Maka visual guidelines, so I went with navy blue.

“ We wa n te d a s t a t i o n e r y d e s i g n f o r b o t h Ta d a i m a a n d M a k a ”, t h a t was the only brief they gave me. So I went with whatever I’ve learned about the company in the past month to came up with this stationery design.




FUROSHIKI BOX Last but not least, Tadaima gave me a task to made a furoshiki b o x d e s i g n . A t fi r s t , t h e y w e r e n ’ t c l e a r a b o u t t h e b r i e f , s i n c e f u r o shiki was sort of like a gift box so I asked them several times about what part of the furoshiki design that I’m going to work o n , i s i t t h e p a tte rn? i s i t t h e b ox i t s e l f ? i s i t t h e h a n g t a g h a n g i n g outside the box? and they weren’t clear either about the material of the box that I’m going to design or the sizes. But in the end this is what I came up with.


At the last brief, they suddenly told me that it was meant to be a s p e c i a l C h i n e s e N e w Ye a r p a c k a g e . We l l . . . t h a t c o m p l i c a te t h i n g s a little bit because celebration usually need like a merrier design, but since the packaging will be covered in furoshiki wrapping, I intend to make it as minimalistic and elegant as possible, with a little surpise in the inside of the package.
