CHRISTMAS IN THE HILLS Friday 21 December 2012 The Oakbank Racing Club’s 2012 ‘Christmas in the Hills’ twilight race meeting will be held Friday 21 December with racing from approximately 2.30 - 7.30pm. As always, there will be plenty of family-friendly fun to be had at Oakbank this Christmas with FREE amusements for the kids, a band and a visit from Father Christmas himself. Guests are welcome to pack a picnic and enjoy the stunning scenery and exciting thoroughbred racing from a trackside location. There’s also a host of hospitality options available for corporate groups and those wanting to celebrate with family and friends. Full details of each package are outlined within this brochure. THE LIGHTS OF LOBETHAL This year, Oakbank will be teaming up with ‘The Lights of Lobethal’ – the largest community Christmas lights display in the Southern Hemisphere to showcase the best of the Adelaide Hills during the Festive Season. With racing finishing at approximately 7.30pm, a visit to the Lights of Lobethal after the races is an ideal way to celebrate ‘Christmas in the Hills’ and treat your guests to a unique experience that captures the true spirit of Christmas. Lobethal is located just 10 minutes drive from the Oakbank Racecourse.

Jingle Bells package $95 per person Located in the historic CS Hayes Bar, this area is just steps away from the member’s grandstand overlooking the winning post. Package from 2.30 - 7.30pm and includes: • admission to the racecourse • casual seating and cocktail tables • assortment of hot and cold cocktail style food • race books (one per guest) • TV monitors and nearby tote facilities • eight beverage vouchers per person – selection of beer, red and white wine, sparkling white wine and assorted soft drinks A roped-off private area can be arranged for groups with a minimum of 10 guests

Festive Fun group package $65 per person Located in the centre of the racecourse, these picket-fenced areas provide a great view of the track in the lead up to the finish line and you needn’t bring a thing. Package from 2.30 - 7.30pm and includes: • admission to the racecourse • private outdoor area with casual seating and undercover shade • BBQ buffet style food • race books (one per guest) • nearby tote facilities and TV monitors • your choice of beverage options – see page 8 Ten outdoor undercover areas available – suitable for groups between 15 - 20 guests Multiple areas can be booked together for larger groups Grandstand Corporate Boxes $125 per person Located at the rear of the double-decker grandstand, this premium location offers a bird’s eye view of the winning post. Santa’s Sleigh package $110 per person Available in the centre of the racecourse, a private trackside marquee is the ideal setting to host a staff Christmas function or entertain corporate clients. Package from 2.30 - 7.30pm and includes: • admission to the racecourse • private marquee with a view of the track, including casual seating and a private outdoor area with umbrellas • your choice of cocktail style or BBQ buffet style food • race books (one per person) • tote facilities and TV monitors • your choice of beverage options – see page 8 Minimum 50 guests

Terms and Conditions • Gates open at 12noon • Packages commence at 2.30pm and conclude at 7.30pm, unless otherwise negotiated • Dietary requirements must be submitted upon confirmation of final numbers • Marquees will be located in the centre of the racecourse adjacent to the home straight • All packages are subject to availability • A 15 % non-refundable deposit is required upon booking • Final numbers are required a minimum of seven days prior to the event, ticketing will be provided upon receipt of full payment • BYO beverages are not accepted in the grandstand, marquees or hospitality areas under any circumstances
