CHRISTMAS CUP Sunday 1 December 2013 This popular event is one of the best family social race days on the thoroughbred racing calendar. The beauty of the Christmas Cup is that it offers something for everyone - great food, racing and entertainment for the whole family, all in an atmosphere of good cheer and celebration. Featuring rides, clowns, face painters, prizes, giveaways, the Stable Stars Kids Club and an appearance from Santa himself. It’s a special Christmas occasion to be enjoyed by all.

AUSTRALIA DAY RACES Sunday 26 January 2014 Murray Bridge racecourse may be 50km from the beach, but that’s not stopping the club from putting on what could be the biggest beach party of the year! Australia Day Races is a celebration of our great Aussie lifestyle. Enjoy an ice cold beer or Daiquiri at the bar, grab a plate of fresh seafood or even a prawn off the barbie, and get into the trackside atmosphere. There’ll be racing, live music and lots of fun things for the kids.

Marquee packages are very popular, offering one of the most extensive and variable racing hospitality packages going around. Be sure to book early and secure your spot for a great day at the races.

RACEDAY HOSPITALITY Murray Bridge Racing Club offers a range of hospitality packages for corporate functions and social occasions throughout the racing season. Committee Room $80 per person ($70 per member) feature racedays - excluding Gold Cup $70 per person ($60 per member) non feature days Committee Room hospitality can be booked on most race days where you can enjoy your day at the races in style. Package includes: • general admission • two course buffet luncheon, which may include - selection of seasonal produce including tender roast lamb, beef or pork, tasty chicken schnitzel, hearty lasagne, roast potatoes and vegetables - an assortment of light, fluffy cakes, flavoured cheesecakes and pavlova • four and a half hour beverage package - Beer, including Carlton Draught, Carlton Mid Strength, Cascade Premium Light - Wine, selection from a range of Rosemount blends including Semillon, Traminer Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Grenache, Shiraz and Cabernet Merlot, Penfolds Seventy Six Cabernet, Annies Lane Moscato, Angels Cove Sauvignon Blanc and Wynns Coonawarra Shiraz • racebook • reserved seating

Everyone wants something different at their race day function, and we will go out of our way to accommodate everyone. Simply give us a call or email us, and we will endeavour to make your race day one to remember. Packages can be tailored to suit your needs and budget. Have you thought about? • • • • •

Your marquee is only limited by your imagination, talk to our friendly office staff to discuss available options. Patrons can supply their own food for the day, or choose from our selection of delicious menus*. We have a strict no BYO alcohol or soft drinks policy at the racecourse, but can discuss beverage packages with you. All marquee bookings receive discounted drink prices. *Minimum numbers required.

Gourmet food packages A broad selection of food packages are available to suit your tastes and budget. Patrons may supply their own food.

Antipasto Quality selection of cured in SA meats with regional influences, mediterranean style stuffed mushrooms, marinated char grilled vegetables, marinated calamari, cocktail pickles, bocconcini, marinated kalamata olives and grissini. Mezze Wood oven ciabatta with balsamic vinegar and SA olive oil. Accompanied with chefs selection of dips, dolmades, fetta and pitas. Cheese and greens with fresh fruit Brie, smoked cheddar, blue and edam with green olives, crackers, wafers, fresh veg cruditÊs and market fresh fruits. Reserve your location on race days and pre-purchase a Reserved Outdoor Picnic Hamper package. Located on the beautifully manicured lawns, this is the perfect base and a great way to relax, enjoy quality racing and soak up the atmosphere.
