2014 weekends at camp RESPite care

Respite care is specifically designed for children and adults with special needs. This program provides a relaxing and fun “home away from home” experience. While participants get a break from their usual schedules, family members and caregivers enjoy a break from daily demands. Our unique camp settings encourage participants to try a variety of new and traditional activities. Indoor and outdoor fun varies with the seasons. Among the many choices are crafts, music, dancing, sledding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, hiking, biking, canoeing, fishing, swimming, sports, games, cooking, day trips and more.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

Individuals ages five to adult with developmental disabilities, autism, hearing and visual challenges, cerebral palsy, physical or other disabilities, are eligible to attend.
