Chef Miller relocated to the kitchen to conduct a live demonstration of breakfast meals for the parents and teachers. She revealed how to prepare banana porridge, baked beans and sausage with toast and fried bammies. To conclude, Melissa Newman, Public and Community Relations Specialist delivered the closing remarks and thanked the parents and teachers for their cooperation and involvement in the launch of our annual School Feeding Programme. The programme officially commenced in October. All schools received their nutrition packages on Thursday, October 19, 2017, which they will utilise to prepare healthy meals for students every morning. By Friday, October 27, 2017, we will deliver comprehensive meal guides to all schools, detailed with a variety of recipes, the necessary food groups and the correct portions.
