such as Shakar Thomas, Tamar Lambert, Andre Russell and Nkrumah Bonner, all of whom have been successful in representing the country and region competitively. Through the Jamaica Energy Partners Cricket League, JEP has promoted and encouraged unity in the communities of St. Catherine, by engaging the youngsters in sports. JEP’s relationship with the St. Catherine Cricket Association (SCCA) spans eighteen years. The company has the responsibility of executing the league annually as well as to showcase its involvement in the development of the St. Catherine players. JEP has witnessed incredible growth of the cricketers, at the parish level, who now represent the country and region. Mr. Wayne McKenzie, JEP’s President and CEO reiterated that the SCCA should implement a business plan for the programme, as a way to ensure remuneration by successful players. This he believes, will add longevity to the sport as well as support matches independent of sponsors.
On Sunday, February 11, 2018, JEP’s Chief Technical Officer, Cecil Gordon, represented the company at the launch at the Ewarton Sports Complex.
