3 Tasty Weight Loss Recipes Weight loss is a tedious process and we often wish that we could have an instruction manual with us from god himself about our particular body type and how we could lose weight. We nearly try everything and when we don’t see immediate results, we lose interest in the task and give up. So little motivation. But that’s how human nature is. Motivation, determination, discipline and dedication are some of the qualities one must possess before going on a strict fitness regime. But not everyone is that patient about losing weight. So why don’t we start eating healthy? Why don’t we search for weight loss recipes instead of weight loss tips? There are healthy recipes for weight loss and one can definitely give it a go. It is nothing tedious and you’ve got nothing to lose. While we are at it, it wouldn’t kill us to use food which help us burn our fat (superfood) and may also help us to higher (or is it increase?) the rate of our metabolism Here are few healthy recipes for weight loss for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Breakfast: Spinach and Parmesan Omelette:

Ingredients: 1 cup chopped spinach 1 tablespoon chopped scallion 2 eggs Parmesan Tabasco for flavour


Procedure: In a non-stick frying pan, add 1 cup chopped spinach and 1 tablespoon chopped scallion. Saute them for 1 minute. Once they gain colour, beat 2 eggs with add little Tabasco (for flavour) and add them to the frying pan. After 2 minutes after the eggs are done flip them and grate parmesan. Cook for another 15 seconds. You could serve with 1 slice of toasted bread. OR Raspberry-Banana Smoothie

Ingredients: ½ banana ½ cup frozen raspberries ½ cup fat free Greek yogurt 8 ounces skim milk Procedure Add all the ingredients in a mixer or blender and beat them till the texture is smooth. You could play with different berries for every day. Serve with a slice of whole wheat toast.

Lunch: Sweet Tuna Salad Ingredients: 1 can tuna in water 3-4 tablespoon sweet relish 2 tablespoon fat free Greek yogurt 1 tablespoon honey mustard Salt and pepper Options: You regular salad addins would be perfect like lettuce, onions, avocado etc. Procedure: Mix tuna, yogurt, honey mustard, salt and pepper and then add your choice of vegetables. You could also add little pieces of toast.


OR Cheese Pasta with peas Ingredients: 2 ounces whole wheat pasta 2 teaspoons olive oil 2-3 cloves garlic 1/2 cup frozen peas 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese Procedure: Start with boiling pasta and remove the peas from the freezer. Take a non stick frying pan and pour olive oil. Mince the garlic and saute till the flavour and smell is right for you. Once the peas are unfrozen, add them to the oil and cook till they are soft. When the pasta is done, drain it and add it the pan. Grate parmesan over it and serve. Dinner: Chicken-pepper wraps: Ingredients: 2 ounces chicken-breast strips (make sure they are boneless) Black pepper Sliced peppers 1/2 cup chicken stew 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger 1 tablespoons creamy peanut butter 1/4 tablespoon soy sauce 1/2 teaspoon garlic 1 10 inch tortilla (you could replace it with roti as well) Garlic salt for flavour Procedure: Before you start cooking, top the chicken strips with garlic salt and pepper and set it aside for 30 minutes. Once that’s done, add little olive oil to the pan and cook the chicken strips slightly until they change their colour. Once they are done, set them aside and in the same pan add chicken stew and sliced peppers. Once they are soft enough, add soy sauce, ground ginger, and peanut butter and cook them on medium heat. Make sure not to


caramelise the peanut butter. Once that’s done, on spread this mix on tortilla, add chicken, wrap them, cut it into half and serve.
