This family fact sheet will give you a quick overview about the family friendly facilities and equipments. CULINARY ___________________________________________ Breakfast The Kids breakfast buffet is especially for our young guests, to give them the possibility to serve themselves as the parents do. Our service team is pleased to assist your children. Children's dinner Dinner is served at 18.15 hrs (Monday to Friday) at the Chesalina for every child who is three years or older and was registered for dinner up by 13.00 hrs that day. If no registration was made, we kindly ask the parents to eat dinner with their children in the dinning room. Should your children neither wish to have dinner at the Chesalina nor in the dining room they have the possibility to eat warm dishes from 11.00 to 18.30 hrs in the lobby. Baby food For baby food please contact our restaurant manager.
GAMES & FUN
___________________________________________ Sledges Wooden sledges are available free-of-charge at the reception. We recommend that you lock the sledge at all times. In the event of a sledge being stolen, lost or not returned at the same day, we will have to charge a rent of CHF 20 to your hotel account.
Babysitter * If possible the reception organizes a babysitter for you (for a babysitter from the hotel we charge CHF 20/25 per hour per family - for an outside babysitter you will have to calculate CHF 20/25 per hour per child plus evening and night supplement)
Swimming pool The swimming pool is open from 07.00 to 20.00 hrs, children until 18.00 hrs, children until 18.00 hrs (without supervision - at one‘s own risk and for children, especially small children, only accessible in company of adults).
Play Station 2: Play Station 2 is available free-of-charge next to the Internet corner/reception.
Swimming wings, swimming belts and balls are available at reception.
Children in our bar Your children may join you in the bar during the evening. To be considerate towards those who do not have children, we must ask you to ensure that your children are quiet and well-behaved while in the bar, and that they do not run around. Thank you for your understanding.
Table tennis A table tennis is places in our tennis hall. You receive table tennis pats and balls at the reception.
Children Chairs, .... Cutlery , .... Menu, .... Bibs All this is available at the restaurant. Should it not be at your table we kindly ask you to contact one of our service employees.
DVD-Library Our family suites / suites and some more rooms are equipped with a DVD player. A choice of various DVD movies is available at the reception.
Games Would you like to play a game? We have a lot of different games in our library.
___________________________________________ Baby cots For babies up to approx. three years a baby cot is placed in your room. Should you prefer a normal bed for your child please inform the reception.
Squirrel Path For adults and children! The squirrel way begins beside the Waldhotel National and ends to Hotel Hof Maran. It tells in a book form a dear history about the squirrel "personhood makes tired". Nuts for the squirrel, you will get at the reception (free of charge).
Baby phone Five bebétéls (baby phone) are available for our Valsana families. Please ask our reception for more information.
Trampoline The trampoline you find in the tennis hall. We ask the parents to have a look that only one child is on the trampoline. The use is at your own risk.
LIVING COMFORT
Bathrobes In each room there is a bathrobe at your disposal. For children‘s bathrobe ask our housekeeper.
Potty - Nappy bucket In principle in all rooms with small children in nappy age a potty and a nappy bucket should be placed. Should you not find it in your room but wish to get it we kindly ask you to contact the reception.
Ski shop * Our ski experts kindly advise you about rental skies, ski repair, skiing lessons, snow– and slopes conditions, etc. Opening times: see sign at the shop. Tennis Introducing Session Mondays at 08.00 hrs (between End December to Mid/ End March) our tennis instructor gives a tennis beginner lesson. The lesson is free of charge. Rackets and balls are available. Please enrol at the reception until Sunday 21.00 hrs.
SPORT IN AROSA ___________________________________________ Skiing * - Winter hiking Arosa is a very family friendly skiing area with wonderful possibilities for beginners as well as advanced skiers. Not only skiers enjoy Arosa - for non-skiing guest Arosa offers about 40 km of prepared winter hiking paths. Please ask the reception for more information. Ice skating * The ice stadion and one of two nature ice skating rinks are located next to the Sporthotel Valsana (the second is next to the hotel Hof Maran and can be reached by bus or by car)
Arosa-Bus Two bus stations are located next to the Sporthotel Valsana. The Arosa bus is free of charge for everyone.
Children's Night Light If you need a night light for your child please contact our reception.
Do not disturb… When your children are sleeping (during the day or in the evening) we kindly ask you to place the „Do not disturb“ sign at your door. The housekeeping employees wont enter the room then. Your room will be cleaned later. Please let the reception or the housekeeping know, when your room can be made.
Two chairs for children sledges are available at reception.
Tobogganing Three prepared tobogganing slopes (the one down from the Prätschli is even lighted during the night) are free of charge at Arosa‘s guests disposal.
Buggy We have cross-country buggy with three wheels for our young guests.
Kettle - Adapter Kettle and adapters are available at the reception.
SPORT
___________________________________________ Children's Club „Valsi” From the middle of December to the middle of April children from the age of three years are supervised free-of-charge at our children's club. The daily opening times (Monday to Friday) are displayed on the information board next to the reception or on the door of the children's club “Valsi”. During opening times children are always welcome at the Club.
Valsi is our little and lovely house ghost. He is always here, but nobody can see him….
