WELCOME TO THE CARLTON HOTEL ST. MORITZ We again have a number of highlights and events in store for you this winter. While Christmas will be spent relaxing in comfort, we'll be partying until the early hours on New Year's Eve. The legendary St. Moritz Gourmet Festival follows at the end of January: under the motto "Yosoko Nippon", master chef Hiroki Yoshitake and our Head Chef Gero Porstein will be delighting patrons of the Romanoff restaurant with Japanese delicacies. Premium quality jewellery will be on display from 20 December to 8 January at the Van Cleef & Arpels exhibition. Keen on horse racing? On New Year's Eve we see the year out with aperitifs on the Bel Etage, followed by a stylish gala Dinner in the Empire Ballroom. Musical entertainment during the select five-course Dinner is provided courtesy of Soul Kitchen. Dinner is followed by our magnificent New Year's Eve party featuring DJ Cruz at the turntables until the early hours.

Enrico and Roberto Cerea invite you to sample the fascinating world of Italian haute cuisine with a masterly prepared sixcourse Dinner on this, the last day of the year.

VALENTINE'S DAY, 14 FEBRUARY

This winter's 2016 Gourmet Festival is taking place under the motto "Yokoso Nippon – Welcome Japan". Taking part are nine creative chefs from Japan's top culinary league. With help from our own chefs, we will be able to offer a range of events during the festival week. Master chef Hiroki Yoshitake will be hosting at the Carlton Hotel St. Moritz with his menu created especially for the Romanoff.

Spend some romantic time together enjoying a candlelit Dinner in an exceptional atmosphere at the Romanoff – complete with background music.

HIROKI YOSHITAKE AT THE CARLTON HOTEL During this year's Gourmet Festival we are delighted to welcome the Japanese master chef Hiroki Yoshitake alongside our Head Chef Gero Porstein at the Romanoff restaurant. Together they will be creating feasts for the eye as well as for the palate. The 35-year old master chef adopts an unconventional style that fascinates the gourmet world. He describes his philosophy as follows: "I follow the seasons and place each product in its original context by combining it with the colours, spices or herbs with which it has a natural, aromatic affinity." Fittingly, he serves his dishes like miniature scenic artworks on specially made pottery. Born in Japan, Hiroki Yoshitake began training at the famous La Rochelle with Hiroyuki Sakai, before his passion for French cuisine

finally brought him to its country of origin. Formative years followed with Alberto Herraフ(z, William Ledeuil and threestar chef Pascal Barbot, who taught him refined simplicity and respect for the original taste. In 2009 Hiroki Yoshitake opened the first of his own restaurants, Hiroki88@Infusion, in Singapore. He then joined forces with 'Sake Samourai' Youlin Ly in 2010 to launch another restaurant, Sola, in Paris. Not many months after its inauguration it was awarded one star by the Michelin Guide. Starting at 16:00 we invite our young guests to watch a wonderful film – complete with popcorn.

At 14:00 we celebrate a colourful carnival with costumes, disco and face painting.

CHRISTMAS DAY, 25 DECEMBER

EASTER SUNDAY, 27 MARCH

The party for children will be on the Bel Etage. We have prepared a little surprise for all the children before Father Christmas drops in.

Egg painting fun at the Kids Club for all our young – and young-at-heart – guests. The eggs will then be hidden around the hotel for the egg hunt. Who will find the most?

NEW YEAR'S EVE, 31 DECEMBER

RUSSIAN CHRISTMAS, 6 JANUARY

Splash Hour Splash Hour, complete with some great water toys, takes place in the swimming pool every Wednesday afternoon between 13:00 and 14:00.

A ride through the Engadine winter wonderland in a horsedrawn carriage, followed by children's punch and cookies by the fire on the Bel Etage.

From 9:00 to 18:00 daily programme of activities at the Kids Club led by kindergarten specialist Cinzia.

Kids Club, at 19:30 the doors open to the children's disco for a buffet and entertainment.
