Exciting challenge for bikers in Brenzone on Lake Garda: the Punta Veleno extreme trail In the 70's Vincenzo Torriani, head of the Giro d’Italia, went to Lake Garda to set the course for a circuit from Assenza di Brenzone towards Prada leading up the slopes of Mt. Telegrafo to the Mt. Baldo chain. Upon returning from his visit, Torriani named the circuit
meadows. This is an easy hike on easy paths and moderately rocky through the woods and pastures. The marked route is dotted with
huts and wonderful sights. Approx 550 meters above sea level. Duration: approx. 4 hours.
"Punta Veleno"(Poison Point) because of its extreme degree of difficulty and the steep climb. Now this path in Brenzone and Prada Alta is a legend, not only for the physical and training it requires, but for the iron will that is necessary: each metre of the route requires so much determination that the temptation to give up is very strong. But for those who struggle and reach the summit, there is the great satisfaction and a breathtaking view that makes it all worthwhile.
