Winter for living A magical winter just one step from the sky Wrapped in the whiteness of the Dolomites of Brenta, during the winter season, Pinzolo is the ideal place to indulge yourself in numerous sporting activities, to sample authentic and genuine flavours and to concede yourself hours of sweet relaxation in pleasant company.

Not to be missed in Trentino Muse, Museum of the Sciences of Trento The Muse, projected by the famous Architect Renzo Piano and inaugurated in July 2013, represents a diffusion centre for the scientific culture of the last conception, which runs alongside the interest for natural history and research, with particular attention toward the ethnic and social themes and questions of major current news, such as ecology and the sustainable development. The course of Muse

uses the metaphor of the mountains to tell the story of the earth. It therefore begins on the terrace and fourth floor with the sun and ice, and then looks further into the themes of biodiversity and evolution to finish in the lower ground floor with the gallery of dinosaurs, the large aquariums and the wonderful tropical greenhouse. In addition, periodically there are temporary exhibitions and events organised, and for the smaller ones wishing to understand, observe and experiment, there is a dedicated area Maxi Ooh!, where they can refine the five senses.

Mart, Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto The centre museum Mart came about in 1987 and was projected by the Architect Mario Botta in collaboration with the Engineer Giulio Andreolli. It develops over four levels for a total of twelve thousand square metres and is home to a very rich collection of art, which ranges from Futurism to Pop Art, from Poor Art to Realism

up to the languages of contemporaneousness.

At its centre, famous works are exhibited; Depero, Balla, CarrĂ , De Chirico, Morandi and Fontana. In the staging of the permanent collection of Mart, which is renewed every 4-5 months, the works dialogue with the masterpieces of International artists. Mart, besides, is home to interesting didactic activities for adults, children and families.

Active and vital among breathtaking natural beauty Alpine skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, telemark, hikes with snow shoes, excursions in the snow, ice skating, sleddog, glacier climbing, and paragliding: Val Rendena presents various offers for all fans of the mountains and snow.

In particular, lovers of alpine skiing will find at their disposal over 150 kilometres of ski runs perfectly snow covered and served by fast, avant-garde ski implants, amongst which is the cable car of recent construction, the PinzoloCampiglio Express, the most panoramic of all.

Fans of snowboarding, on the other hand, can practise their turns at the Ursus Park in Madonna di Campiglio, in the Grostè area, which, with its 70.000 square meters, is considered one of the best areas in Europe, or at Brent Park in Pinzolo in the splendid Busa di Grual, at the foot of the black runs of Grual.

Cross country skiing consists of a valid alternative for those who wish to join a more intense athletic exercise with moderate speed. At Campo Carlo Magno (Madonna di Campiglio) there are 22 kilometres of runs, of which 10.5 kilometres of World Cup pistes and 7.5 kilome-

tres of Sprint runs. However, even alpine skiing finds its elective home country in Val Rendena with fantastic itineraries which lead to the most striking summits of the Dolomites of Brenta.

For all those wishing to explore the charming winter scenery by foot, the hikes with snow shoes and excursions in the snow represent a real and true healthy touch, in that they allow you to discover the wonders of the Adamello Brenta Natural Park in a unique atmosphere spangled in pure and uncontaminated nature.

Summer 2014 preview To spend your summer holidays at the Hotel Europeo, framed by the nature of Pinzolo, means to enjoy a stay in absolute freedom making use of the first class services and appreciating the beauty of nature, still wild in part, which during the summer season adorns itself in the most beautiful of colours.

Sport fans can do as they please between golf, mountain biking, nordic walking, trekking and paragliding. Not to be missed is Golf Club Rendena, with its nine hole course, par 35, designed by the famous Architect Fulvio Bani, the Dolomiti di Brenta Bike, a circular course for

mountain bikes around the Dolomites of Brenta, the Dolomiti Nordic Walking Park, with its 5 itineraries of different difficulties, length and level difference for a total of 27 kilometres, and the Dolomiti di Brenta Trek, an excursion itinerary with a circular course designed around the massive steep of Brenta and immersed in the heart of the Adamello Brenta Natural Park.

Furthermore, in the immediate surroundings of Hotel Europeo you will find Parco Pineta with its 120.000 square meters, where your children can safely enjoy themselves, an avant-garde library and a splendid ice stadium, which is home

to important events of International relevance.

Just 30 minutes away by car from Pinzolo appears the Breg Adventure Park, the biggest adventure park in the whole of the Trentino region with over 100 fantastic activities divided into 7 different courses of various difficulties. Not to be forgotten too are the numerous pathways which Val Rendena offers for mushroom picking. In particular, the undergrowth of the woods at Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo is rich with a large variety of mushrooms, which may be collected especially at the end of summer. By car Brennero motorway A22: exit Trento Sud or Trento Nord, follow directions for Madonna di Campiglio on the state road 45/bis (as far as Sarche), then take the SS 237 (as far as Tione). Finally, follow the SS 239 until reaching Pinzolo.
