IMPROVED PARK TRAILS for Zonolite

In 2013, the GA Department of Natural Resources awarded Dekalb County about $80,000 in grant money to build trails in Zonolite Park. We are now seeing those improvements come to life!

They’ve built their reputation around being one of the “greenest” spas in the business. Their newest product line, Jurlique’s Nutri-Define collection of age-reclaiming products, is a case in point. BOi TIPS

D A T E

Wit and wisdom by property manager Jan McCurry’s emotionally evolved alter ego “Boi.”

Y’all, I’m remembering a particularly cringe-worthy photo of my 1980’s self in a perm and full makeup, (before I identified as a ‘boi’). I’ve never been accused of having great style, yet—somehow—I’ve ended up working in an environment that practically defines style. This community has taught me the value of clean lines, good bones, subtlety, and minimalism. I especially love spaces that celebrate synergies between interiors and exteriors. Increasingly, over the years, Floataway has embraced these synergies. From the boxwood “F” planter in front of 1123 to Nickel Bottom, the community garden we’re envisioning for the Zonolite Park meadow behind 1145, I feel like we’ve “grown green” together. Our community has been instrumental in envisioning the lovely Nickel Bottom Garden concept pictured left. With an open air pole barn, a rainwater harvesting system, an orchard, and a fanned design of raised planting beds, when its built, Nickel Bottom promises to be a best-in-class public space—right in our backyard. We’ve got the dream, but we need you to help us make it a reality. Please consider donating your time and leadership to help our garden grow. Email ggrimes@ tuckermott.com to learn how you can help.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR TENANT OF THE QUARTER DataView has been growing fast since moving into our community a few years ago. They’re currently building out an expanded space at 1123 #10. The technology company manufactures, engineers and designs state-of-the-art audio visual and computing systems. Want to turn an entire wall of your office into an interactive video screen? They can hook you up! And they’ll have a lot fun doing it too. The easy-going staffers at DataView are enthusiastic participants in all of Floataway’s community events, and they’re a pleasure to work—and play—with. Dataviewsys.com 4
