In the last few months our team here at the TPAC has been as busy as ever navigating a full slate of performances from ballet to Broadway and everything in between. The pandemic hasn’t made it easy, but as John Steinbeck put it: “The theater is the only institution in the world which has been dying for four

thousand years and has never succumbed. It requires tough and devoted people to keep it alive.”

is the official magazine of the Tulsa Performing Arts Center.

Indeed, our team has some of the most resilient and passionate folks in the business. And we’ve recently welcomed several new staff members across all departments. I’m thrilled to introduce two new employees on our Development and Engagement team, both of whom have a background in the arts. Kaylee Barnes Stevens is our new Digital Media Specialist. Kaylee focuses on engagement on our online and social media platforms. She’s often seen around the building with a camera and video equipment creating content for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. Trust me, if you aren’t following the TPAC on social media, you are missing out! Jennifer Cooper also joins us as our Data and Ticketing Specialist. Jen spends her days training and assisting us with our ticketing and development software, ensuring we can do all of the things our presenters and patrons need. In an office of creatives, it is wonderful to have her analytical mind, technological skills, and calming demeanor. And so, despite recent challenges, our TPAC team keeps going. Our doors remain open, the audiences once again fill the houses and we can feel the joy of the arts is alive and well in Tulsa.
