humanities, education & social sciences Gannon Communication Arts, Political Science, English and Social Work graduates have 100 percent job placement. Education graduates enjoy a 97 percent success rate in either getting a job or continuing their education. Gannon’s 3,000-watt student-operated radio station is WERG 90.5 FM. Political science students play major leadership roles in Gannon’s Model United Nations, the 2nd oldest continuing program of its kind in the nation. It attracts nearly 500 high school students each year. Freshman Education majors get 10 hours of actual experience in education settings through the first-year seminar.

engineering & business Gannon's Dahlkemper School of Business is the 1st school in the region with national accreditation.
The average class size in the Dahlkemper School of Business is 15-30 students, which helps to foster relationships with other students and with professors. Gannon offers Sports Management and Marketing as a major, allowing sports enthusiasts to be more than just fans. In 2009 we added an Entrepreneurship major to educate students who want to run their own business someday. Our student computer labs are open and staffed 16 hours per day, 7 days a week. We house one of the largest educational computer facilities in the tri-state area.

More than 90 percent of our pre-professional students have been accepted into health professional schools over the last several years. The new 5,800 square foot state-of-the-art Patient Simulation Center allows health and science students to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world setting. We have more than 40 contracts with accredited health care delivery institutions where our students acquire high-quality, hands-on experience. There are 4 major medical centers located within a four-mile radius of Gannon's campus.

Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) except men’s and women’s water polo, which compete in the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA).
