Police have doled out a series of warnings to new students arriving in Swansea. South Wales Police, which covers Swansea, have advised students to avoid excessive alcohol consumption
while partying and going to clubs during their time at Swansea University and the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. In an online list of six basic fresher safety tips, they also strongly encouraged freshers to travel only with registered drivers when hiring taxis,
