Born in Mannheim, Thomas Martin has been heading up the kitchen at Jacobs Restaurant at Hotel Louis C. Jacob in Hamburg since 1997. The two-star chef’s sophisticated and delicious creations are testament to his creativity and finesse, and his light French cuisine is simple, yet full of flair. In Agadir, a new face will come aboard in the form of Philipp Stein, one of the youngest Michelin-starred chefs in Germany and rising star of the year 2014 according to Feinschmecker magazine. After completing his training, Philipp Stein embarked on a tour of discovery, visiting famous restaurants both on land and at sea. Today, he is head chef at the Restaurant Favorite in Mainz, where his dishes are influenced by the ideas he has collected from around the world. “Refined, but not complicated; sometimes traditional, sometimes unconventional.” Depending upon the circumstances, it is possible that other gourmet chefs will be on board for this trip.
