Crespi d’Adda è un villaggio operaio di fine ‘800, che fu costruito dalla famiglia di industriali tessili Crespi, da cui prende il nome. Sorge sulle rive del fiume Adda e le case che lo compongono sono tutt’oggi abitate. Sul villaggio domina il Castello del padrone. Dal 1995 è stato riconosciuto Patrimonio dell’Umanità UNESCO, in quanto considerato un complesso architettonico simbolo di un’epoca storica ed esemplificativo di una modalità di socialità e aggregazione umana.

Crespi d’Adda ist ein Arbeiterdorf vom Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts, das von der Familie des Textilindustriellen Crespi gebaut wurde. Es liegt an den Ufern des Adda Flusses und seine Häuser sind noch bewohnt. Das Dorf hat einen großen Park und einen Schloss des Meister, der mit seine Mitarbeiter sehr wohlwollend war. Seit 1995 ist er als UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe anerkannt worden, da sie als einzige Beispiel frühindustrieller Archäologie und historische Symbol der sozialen und menschlichen Aggregation war.
