CALETA DELS GOSSETS

CALETA DELS GOSSETS COME TO LITTLE DOGS' COVE AND HAVE FUN WITH YOUR BEST FRIEND! The Cove's name was chosen from all the suggestions sent in by boys and girls from all the primary schools in and around Santa Pola. This is a place where your dogs can enjoy playing on the beach and having a swim with you. It's very important that you follow the basic rules for use and environmental conservation. By keeping the Cove clean and tidy you're making sure it's still here in years to come. So, it's up to all of us to look after it. Please bear in mind that this cove is NOT for the sole and exclusive use of dog owners.

BASIC RULES FOR BEACH USE AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION: You must keep your dog under control and respect other beach users, as you will be liable for any damage or injury caused by your dog.

Only two dogs per person are allowed at the cove.

Your dog must be microchipped and parasite free. Don't forget to bring your dog's up-to-date vaccination record with you.

Dogs with a history of aggressive behaviour towards other animals are banned from the Cove.

Access to the Cove is not permitted to dogs with ongoing infectious diseases, females on heat and puppies who have not yet had all their vaccinations.

Please remember that these rules have been made to ensure that hygiene standards required by law are met and to provide a pleasant experience for everyone using the Cove.

You must pick up your dog's mess, so please make sure you're carrying enough bags and remember to put them in the bins provided. If your dog is classed as a dangerous breed, it must be wearing a muzzle and collar and you must keep it on the lead.

Dog training and classes led by professional instructors are not permitted on this beach.

SOS 112 To comply with applicable legislation, the Beaches Department carries out regular analyses and tests on the sand and bathing water at the Cove and publishes the results on the noticeboards for your information.
