Welcome to this year’s magazine highlighting the winners in the communities of Oakdale, Escalon, and Riverbank Readers’ Choice awards for 2024. Our contest is voted on and selected by you and all the other readers of the Oakdale Leader, Escalon Times and Riverbank News, both in print and online. In this year’s voting, we had higher participation with more votes cast than ever before — over 20,000 votes across many categories.
Every year, it is important to us as your local community newspaper to recognize those people, businesses and organizations that our readers choose as the ‘best.’ As the leading local media organization in Oakdale, Escalon, Riverbank and surrounding communities, our audience is bigger than ever, as we strive to produce content in many forms that is focused on the communities in which we live, work and play. We live in vibrant communities with many successes all around us. and it is important that all of us patronize local businesses and support our communities.
As always we strive to provide content that enlightens, entertains and informs while providing a forum for local conversation about issues and ideas.

Main Street Garage is an automotive repair shop located at 1906 Main Street, corner of Third St and Main St across from Main Street Park. Owners Mike and Carly Lewis and the team at Main Street Garage have been serving the community and surrounding areas since 2017.
Main Street Garage is a Napa Autocare Center that offers a wide variety of services. These services include, but are not limited to: Oil Changes, alignments, smog checks, front end work, brakes, Air Conditioning Repair, diagnostics and general repairs. We offer top of the line honest service to get our valued customers on and down the road safely. Our experienced staff pays close attention to all repairs and customer concerns. We are proud to offer 24 point courtesy digital vehicle inspections. This allows the customer to “see what we are seeing.” The report is sent as a link to the cell attached to the customer pro le. Pictures and videos are sent along with the report, which is great for a customer to plan for the repairs needed in the future.
Customer Sharie Davis says,”Main street garage is the best place to go, great people and great service.” Hank and Helen, our shop mascots, look forward to visiting with all of our valued customers and will keep you company while you wait.
Our upcoming goal is to expand at our existing location by adding an additional 4,000 square of production space and 6
more lifts. This will allow us to perform more inspections and repairs daily, but more importantly, be able to take in those repairs on a moment’s notice. Automotive technology is constantly changing, which is driving every employee to be challenged. This year we have started a path for each employee to become a ASE Master Certi ed Technician. We are excited for the hard work to be rewarding for each employee’s journey to be the best.
