Welcome to this year’s magazine highlighting the winners of the Turlock Journal Readers’ Choice awards for 2022. It is our 17th annual contest with some of our winners dating back to 2005.
This year’s winners had some tough competition as COVID restrictions were lifted and locals once again got out and about to shop, dine and enjoy recreational activities.
Our contest is voted on and selected by you and all the other readers of the Turlock Journal, both in print and online. In this year’s voting we had even more votes cast than ever before — over 126,000.
This issue is unique in that it shines a light on the people, businesses and organizations our readers choose as the ‘best.’ As the oldest media organization in Turlock and surrounding communities, our audience is bigger than ever as we strive to produce content in many forms that is focused on the community that all of us live, work and play in.
