My Poem This is my story, and it is ever so true, I’ll tell you no lies, if only you knew. My daughter got took from me, four years ago, I was so so selfish, stupid I know! I’ve got five kids, whom I love very much Every day, we all keep in touch. There’s only one whom I don’t see, That’s my Ellie-Mae. Whom means so so much to me, Who I really, very much want to see. I’ve been in such trouble, I just didn’t think, All what I did, was through the drink. I hit the vodka, so so bad, I hate it now, and I’m ever so glad! Vodka stinks, vodka is bad, I’ve packed it in, and I’m ever so glad. I love my kids and that’s all that I think, Going to see them and not stinking of drink. I know I’ve got such some time to go, But now I’m feeling high, instead of feeling low. Thanks to Karen my whole life has turned, I love her loads and all the world. Karen’s the best, the best of all, She’s given me such a wakeup call. Heidi my Probation Officer has such helped me too, If it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t have pulled through! Turning Point has helped me such so much, And when I get better I’ll still keep in touch. I’m getting better every day, I’ve wrote this poem and I’ve got nothing else to say. Everything I’ve wrote is true, so I’ll be on my way, I’m getting better every day.
