A riot of color

The golden-yellow grapevines glow in the setting sun and invite you to go out and explore the autumn countryside. The landscape is a riot of color as Mother Nature seems to celebrate one last intoxicating festival before the advent of winter. The farmers are bringing in their heavy harvest, and the plentiful bounty of grapes must be taken and processed in the cellars. Many a glass of "new wine" is quaffed. Wouldn't you like to discover the quaint local custom of "törggelen," too?
