responsibility - to get up and show up, even when the going gets tough. We refer to this as our Grammar Grit.
On the fields, on the courts, in the pool and on the river, our students proudly wear the black and gold and experience the joy of teamwork and the passion of School spirit, creating memories that will last a lifetime and stories to enjoy as they become Past Grammarians.
To play sport at Townsville Grammar School is a fantastic opportunity to develop talents, to be a part of a team and to learn about humility - the ability to show grace in accepting defeat, and to be humble and generous in the joy of the win. These virtues translate into all areas of life and are important skills in becoming responsible and contributing adults.
We are very proud of our Sports Program at Townsville Grammar School and look forward to another spirited year as we fly the black and gold.
