Any other forms of description are given without warranty as to the origin, authenticity or signature of the artist noted. Export:Prospective purchasers are advised that due care and attention has identified lots containing materials from endangered species, including but not limited to coral, ivory, rosewood and tortoiseshell. Certain countries may prohibit the import of these lots and accordingly, prospective purchasers should familiarize themselves with relevant customs regulations prior to bidding. 9. The items are not suitable for connection to mains electricity unless they are checked and warranted so by a qualified electrician 10. Artist’ Resale Rights (ARR) In essence, this charge will be made to the purchaser of any work of art that has been produced by a living artist, or an artist registered with Design and Artists Copyright Society, on lots with the hammer price more than the UK sterling equivalent of €1000. Modern Design
The Waveney Room Welcome to our Modern Design Sale and our inaugural auction in The Waveney Room! This light, airy, purpose-built space has been many years in the planning and what better way to launch it than with one of our flagship special sales? For many years James Bassam, our renowned specialist in 20th and 21st Century art and design, has compiled some wonderful headlining Modern Design auctions in surroundings which, whilst characterful and perfect for other designated sales, have not been ideal for his purpose. The ambiance was not appropriate for the subject, the space far too small and restricted. Now we are proud to share our new facility which will be the ideal showcase for some very worthy auctions and events, long into the future. These will complement our ongoing regular weekly auctions, which will continue to grow and develop. Please refer to our auction calendar www.twgaze.co.uk for details. The opening of The Waveney Room is phase one of the current building project. Over the summer and autumn, stage two, the completion of a new Reception and offices will be followed by stage three, the fitting out of our new refreshments facility, CafĂŠ 1857, adjacent to The Waveney Room. Our intention is to continue to enhance the TW Gaze Auction Experience and we hope you will continue to enjoy it with us. Elizabeth Talbot Director of TW Gaze
