2 homes built in the 1930s/1940s were demolished in the early 1970s to make way for the Pierson West community. Pierson West was platted in 1974. There are 42 units and they were all completed in 1974. All units are the same floorplan and they have 1,144 square feet of livable space. Original plat map from 1974

Developer

Warren Randolph Financial was formed in 1972, with the mission to convert existing apartments into condominiums. The company name is a combination of the 2 principals' middle names. John Dundee and Jay Clark started to develop their own condominiums, when the conversion market became saturated. Pierson West was their first development. Randolph Court was their 2nd development. John Dundee converted his first apartments to condos in 1972; a 1964 8 unit apartment complex that was featured in a 1964 issue of Playboy magazine and called "The Playboy Lofts". They were designed by architect Miles Stahm and were re-branded as "Syncor Condos" in 1972. Randolph Court was designed by Alexander and Ganos Architects, Inc. We are still researching the architect who designed Pierson West, but there is a striking resemblance to the playbot lofts-could it be a Miles Stahm design? WWW.TwinsAndCompany.COM
