MICHAEL LUCAS Undresses Israel When many people think of Israel, it is often in terms of modern war or ancient religion. But there is much more to the Jewish state than missiles and prayers. In Undressing Israel, gay porn auteur Michael Lucas and Israeli director Yariv Mozer examine a side of the Holy Land that is largely overlooked: its thriving gay community. The film spotlights a diverse range of local men, including a gay member of Israel’s parliament, a trainer who served openly in the army, a young Arab-Israeli journalist, and a pair of fathers raising their children. Michael Lucas also visits Tel Aviv’s vibrant nightlife scene and even attends a same-sex wedding in this guided tour of a country that has emerged as a pioneer for gay integration and equality.
Why is it important for you to introduce people to gay Israel? Michael Lucas: When Israel makes news, it is almost always in the context of terrorism or occupation. Israel is often cast as an oppressor and people who know little about the Middle East come away with the idea that it is an intolerant place that is only supported by those on the political right. Israel is actually the most liberal country in the area by far, and its very impressive record on gay-rights issues is a clear illustration of that. The gay lives that are shown in Undressing Israel do not exist in any of Israel’s Muslim neighbors. What surprises viewers most in the film? The variety and openness of Israel’s gay community, and how comfortably it is integrated into the rest of Israeli society. How do most Israelis view homosexuality? As tolerantly as Americans do—probably more so, overall. How does Israel compare with the USA in the battle for gay equality? Israel is considerably ahead of America in many important ways. For example, Israel’s parliament repealed prohibitions against sodomy in 1988, fifteen years before the American Supreme Court did the same. Discrimination against gays in employment has been prohibited nationwide since 1992. Gay Israelis can adopt their partners’ children, which is still illegal in many states. Gay people may sponsor their partners for immigration, which is not yet legal in America. Are gay men allowed to serve openly in the military?

Yes, and they have been since 1993. Before the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”, the Israeli military was often cited as an example for America to follow. Where is Israel in terms of gay marriage? Israelis are not as interested in achieving the word “marriage” as much as they are in the rights that it accords, particularly when it comes to having children. Although gay marriage does not exist in Israel—because of opposition by the country’s stillpowerful religious minority—the state effectively recognizes common-law marriage for same-sex couples, which gives them many financial and legal rights that we do not yet possess in America. (Israel does officially recognize gay marriages performed abroad.) Is it true that Israel is experiencing a gayby boom? Absolutely, yes. It’s a very family-oriented culture. Per capita, in fact, Israel has the highest number of children with gay parents in the world. I think that at least half of my gay Israeli friends have children. What is like to be a transsexual in Israel? Transsexuals face special challenges everywhere, but Israel is unusually accepting by international standards. One of the biggest celebrities in Israel is Dana International: a beautiful, openly transsexual pop singer who is widely loved by Israelis. In 1998, she was selected to represent Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest, a hugely popular annual competition held among many of the active member countries of the European Broadcasting Union. She won. How does Israel’s nightlife compare to the USA?
Is Israel safe? Yes. In 2002, Israel began construction on the West Bank Barrier, which the government said was essential to prevent would-be suicide bombers from entering Israel and attacking civilians. This concrete-based wall has indeed stopped suicide bombings and other attacks. And Israel proper is not a violent place. The rate of gun-related death there is less than one-fifth of what it is in the United States. What can the USA learn from Israel? Where gay rights are concerned, it is best to adopt a national policy rather than defer, as the USA too often does, to “state’s-rights” arguments that effectively create large regions of second-class citizenry. What can Israel learn from the USA? The momentum for full marriage equality in America has grown stronger, and more quickly, than even most gay activists had hoped. It would be nice to see more movement in that direction in Israel, even if the common-law system already gives gay couples many of marriage’s practical benefits. What’s the overall message of Undressing Israel? I would like for people to take away a greater understanding of how progressive and tolerant Israel really is. People sometimes ask why we should care about Israel. This is why: because Israel shares our core values. And in some areas— like gay rights—it can even help inspire us to live up to those values a little better. For more information, themovie.com.
It varies from city to city, but Tel Aviv’s club scene is comparable to New York’s. It has clubs, bars, discos, gay beaches and a huge Gay Pride parade.

Ham, Cheese and Broccoli Casserole Hello Friends, How is the New Year going for you? Have you joined that exercise club you made the resolution to join yet? Have you started to drink those 8 glasses of water every day you vowed to drink? How about that mile walk, where do you stand on that? And don’t forget those new vegetables you said you would add to your present diet. So many good intentions we have and much too often we get off track and next year we are making the same resolutions. Well one resolution we can all make is to just to “do better”. Make your life a little better one day at a time. That includes eating good healthy meals, yes fast food tastes good and it is quick and you can even eat it in the car while you drive. I do not suggest you do that, besides being unsafe it does not help with you digestion. Even though I no longer work outside the home and have lots of time to cook, I still do a lot of weekend meals. That means I take one day and make up several meals for the week. The meals can be frozen, then just taken out and reheated when we want them. Or, as simple as getting my vegetables ready for salads. You know, wash, chop and then wrap well (of course you do not add any dressing at this time, or your ingredients will go limp). Having the makings already prepared ahead of time, gives you a great basis for a quick and healthy supper when you get home. I will try to give you several recipes this year for make-ahead-of-time meals. Now this recipe is not the best for freezing but a good one to put in your box. I did not get submitted in time for you to use up those holiday leftovers but Easter is right around the corner and I know a lot of you will be wondering what to do with the leftover ham from Easter dinner, or if you do not want to wait on leftovers you can purchase a couple of thick slices or one of those mini hams you find

5 eggs 1 cup milk ½ cup Sour Cream 1 pkg (10 oz.) Frozen chopped broccoli, thawed, drained 1 pkg (6 oz.) Stuffing Mix for Chicken 1-1/2 cup Smoked Ham, chopped 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese, divided HEAT oven to 375ºF. Whisk eggs, milk and sour cream in large bowl until well blended. Add broccoli, stuffing mix, ham and 1/2 cup cheese; mix lightly. POUR into 2-qt. lightly oiled casserole; cover loosely with foil. BAKE 1 hour or until heated through. Sprinkle with remaining cheese; bake, uncovered, 5 min. or until melted. Hints: If you do not have broccoli on hand use whatever vegetable you do have say peas or mixed vegetables. A small salad and a piece of fruit for dessert and there you go. Any leftover casserole reheats nicely for another meal; maybe take it to work for lunch. In our next issue we will look at a meal for St. Patrick’s Day, Corn Beef and Cabbage. Then a few ways to pep up those deviled eggs you will want for Easter and a cookie I can’t wait to share with you. It is a new fast way to rework a really old recipe and it is delicious and very addictive. Now how is that for a couple of teasers? Hope you come back to see me and in the meantime remember to work smart, play hard and take time for a cookie. Show Blue Jean Granny how much you love her recipes and hints or make a dish suggestion for upcoming articles. You can reach her by email at Granny@TWITmagazine.com

DJ Spotlight By DJ Mark D
DJ Manny Lehman It always gives me chills to encounter a DJ that has been in the scene since the late 70s – as that seems to be the period when our music was created and the dancefloor took on a whole new meaning. Great Discos like The Saint, Studio 54 and Paradise Garage helped to define a new party. If you know disco, not just the standard cheesey top 10 songs everyone recalls, but REALLY know Disco (all that wonderful underground, non-radio stuff), then you’ll be able to identify many samples from that period that are used in today’s modern music. One guy that has been there all along and can understand how to give that true dancefloor journey is our spotlight DJ: Manny Lehman. Manny started his interest in dance music in the late 70s, also a time when he came out. He bagan his DJ career in the early early 80s, “I used to frequent a nightclub called “The Paradise Garage”, where Larry Levan was the house DJ. I fell in love with the music he used to play … his style … his selection … the energy he created by simply incorporating the volume and the Crossover EQ. I then decided to get myself two turntables and a mixer to try and emulate what Larry Levan did. So I taught myself how to mix. Then, I started to work at the legendary record store “Vinyl Mania”, where I was very privy to the newest music domestically and internationally. I got to talk to all the other DJs and get inspired. It was then that my DJing went to another level and got serious.” Manny looked to many for inspiration, not only Larry Levan, but other greats like Shep Pettibone, Francois K., Tee Scott, Larry Patterson, Scott Blackwell, Howard Merritt, Roy Thode and Bobby G. They all had something unique that Manny cued in on and was able to draw inspiration from, “There were so many DJs that were the pioneers for what DJing is now” he says. As with everything, you start small. He slowly was able to get gigs at small bars and clubs around NYC, then he got one of the two big breaks that put him on track. “started playing in small clubs and Bars in NYC … then one night the promoter of Hot 97 FM in NYC asked me to play at a party for them. I was like sure … and he says “By the way it will be broadcast live on the air … oh and by the way it’ll be at the
Pg. 14
Throughout his work and literally thousands of gigs around the world, Manny has become a wellknown brand name in our community. Looking forward, he’s looking to broaden his career beyond the DJ booth, “I am striving to become more of a music producer. I am also looking to dabble back in the club promotion business. I was more active in that a few years ago producing Club “Hooker” with Rohan Bisset, “Orbit” with Jeffrey Sanker and “Action” with Tom Whitman … all in LA. I still strive to spin the best possible music I can.” Music-wise, Manny is all about Tribal and Vocal, “as lond as it’s pumping,” he laughs! Ever-changing, music is a constant ameba that never stays still. Manny sees today as being an interesting time for music, “dance has a hold of pop music in a unique way, Hip hop & R&B has hybrid with Trance & Dance music. Lady Gaga started this new wave of music and now you have all kinds of artists doing dance songs: Usher, Chris Brown, Rhianna … I hope to see music a little more underground in the clubs and have artists break out of the club world like it used to. It’s great to have all these wonderful commercial artists lend their songs to be remixed but I would love to see more stars rise from the underground.” The three songs that define him musically would be ‘Weekend’ by Phreek, “to show my musical roots and inspiration,” ‘Finally’ by CeCe Peniston, “to show my proudest moment in my music career as a executive and ‘Titanium’ by Dave Guetta to prove that nothing beats a great song with an amazing vocalist behind it. It’s been a long road for Manny and he’s infinitely thankful that he’s been able to maintain his edge, “In a very fickle business I have been able to have longevity and relevancy. And for that I am grateful,” he exclaims. For a complete tour schedule, look up his various online pages (facebook.com/ DJ.Manny.Lehman) or djmannylehman.com. TWIT

Retro Rewind By JD Arnold
Spiller “Groovejet” Having just got back from being snow bound in England I felt the need to choose a house track with a warm summery vibe and the track that immediately came to mind was ‘Groovejet (If This Ain’t Love)’ by DJ Spiller featuring the vocals of UK singer songwriter Sophie-Ellis Bextor. It was originally released in August of the year 2000 and, with its jet plane sound effects, it really conjures up visions of ‘holidays’ to Ibiza, the crown jewel vacation destination on the house circuit. If you have ever been to London’s Gatwick Airport during the summer months it is quite easy to spot the House-heads bound for a fortnight of wild partying on the Spanish island. The same type of crowd now gathers in Miami for the Winter Music Conference and Ultra Music Festival. This year’s events run from March 15th through the 24th and feature the who’s who of house music and EDM. ‘Groovejet’ was originally recorded as an instrumental and was built around a disco sample loop from The Salsoul Orchestra. The British Record label Positiva realized that the track needed vocals to garner airplay and recruited singer/songwriter Sophie Ellis-Bextor to write and record the lyrics. The relaxed and soothing vocals of the then newcomer lifted the track from obscurity into a massive worldwide hit. It became one of my most requested house tracks of all time and I still have great memories of playing it on Sunday evening at ‘Sundown at the Social’ on Washington Ave,

where I spun with fellow DJ’s Andy ‘Champa’ Moore and Sean Carnahan. What a eclectic mix of gay and straight house music fans filled that venue on warm summer evenings! Shame it no longer exists! ‘Groovejet’ crossed over from the dance-floors to the pop charts reaching Number One in countries like Australia, New Zealand and the UK. The track was included on her debut album ‘Read My Lips’ I had never heard of Sophie-Ellis Bextor before this track but she has since become a firm favorite with hits like ‘Murder On The Dancefloor’. In 2009 she teamed up with producer/remixers The Freemasons who also come from my hometown of Brighton. This collaboration spawned the hits ‘Heartbreak, Make Me A Dancer’ and ‘ Bittersweet’. I often play her tracks early on a Saturday evening at The Eagle as they help get me in the groove with their happy uplifting vibe. Sophie-Ellis has more recently worked with current chart toppers like Calvin Harris and French DJ’s Bob Sinclair and Mathieu Bouthier. She is well-respected in the business and her collaboration with DJ Spiller on ‘Groovejet’ totally deserves its reputation of being the ultimate summer vacation track! She is currently working on a new album with a more ‘indie’ feel to be released later this year – so be on the lookout!

Three Spotlights for Black History Month RuPaul Andre Charles
February is Black History Month and we are spotlighting three people from the Gay and Lesbian Community that you probably will not hear about in schools, on the TV or radio. Starting from present and moving backwards in time, here are just three of many noteworthy individuals that deserve to be mentioned.
RuPaul Andre Charles (singer, actor, author and TV show host, drag performer) RuPaul is a true super-force and I have been a major fan since the first moment I heard the song, SuperModel. RuPaul has many firsts in his career and he has made it on his own terms without letting Hollywood make a joke of him or his career. Born in San Diego, California, RuPaul Andre Charles developed his drag persona in Atlanta and New York in the 1980s. Since 1990, RuPaul has released nine full albums (seven on his own Ru-Co label). He was the first gay black performer to have his own talk show on TV, has written two books, and has his very own line of dolls. He has hosted his own Christmas special, co written and produced his own independent movie Starbooty, and now heads up one of the most watched TV shows on cable, RuPaul’s Drag Race. RuPaul, at age 51, is credited with being the mother of all Drag Moms and also changing perceptions of what it means to be black and gay. To many unfamiliar with the art of drag, he has provided a positive image that has helped to make his name a household word.
Pg. 20
Three teachers at a Los Angeles area elementary school were suspended for allowing students to carry photos of RuPaul during a Black History Month parade. What these people don’t seem to understand is RuPaul is a major part of Black History. He made it on his own, he has always embraced his culture, and in the end, he has educated and helped many young black gays to love themselves and stand up and be heard.
Sylvester James a.k.a. Sylvester 1947-1988 (legendary Soul and Disco performer) The late great singer was known for being very open and androgynous, but for Sylvester this was not an act. This was who he was as a person and as a performer. His style did not overshadow his talent. It just made it OK for him to be as outrageous and fabulous as he was as a singer. Sylvester’s career started during the hippie movement of the late 60’s so this is one of the main reasons he was able to be as free and open as he was. The flower children were feeling his pure love and let his soulful singing touch them as they all got high and tried new things. Sylvester started out like most young black gay kids singing in church. As a young teenager growing up in Watts, he did not feel accepted around his town or at church for being seen as soft or sweet. In his late teens, he fell into a group of friends that did drag. He hung out and partied at the homes of people like Etta James. He named his group of friends, The Disquotays. They were

not a singing group, just a group of drag performers. Later, moving to San Francisco, he hooked up with a set of performers called the Cockettes that did shows in drag but also sang live during the show. The show was the biggest show, gay or straight, in San Francisco at the time, and this lead to Sylvester being signed to a major recording contract with Blue Thumb records. Sylvester was also known to have given many now famous divas their big break by making them his back-up singers such as the Pointer Sisters. There was also Martha Wash and Izora Rhodes, who he named Two Tons of Fun (who later renamed themselves The Weather Girls). With a new sound, a new band, and two bad ass back-up singers that could match him in the studio and on stage, Sylvester went on to become the toast of San Francisco and the disco music movement. With 3 gold albums and a string of number one dance singles, Sylvester’s career was still strong well into the 80’s, even after the disco backlash. Sylvester became a victim of AIDS and passed away in December, 1988 with singer Jeanie Tracey by his side. He was buried in grand diva style (as he wanted) in his favorite red silk kimono, and painted for the gods.
Mabel Hampton 1902 – 1989 (Lesbian activist and archivist) When I first met Miss Mable (as she was introduced to me) I was just 18 years old. We had a twenty minute conversation that seemed like a lifetime. I learned about myself and gay black history. If it wasn’t for Miss Mable, we as gay blacks would not know much about gay life before the 70’s Ms. Hampton was a major contributor of her time and personal materials to the Lesbian History Archives. She witnessed and helped document gay and black life during the 20th century, starting with the Harlem Renaissance, as well as her own 25 year relationship with partner, Lillian Foster. Ms. Hampton is not just important to Gay Black History, but to Lesbian history as well. During her lifetime, Ms. Hampton gathered up and saved hundreds of letters, photos and other items that chronicled African-American and gay life, also adding parts of her own life. She was a philanthropist, volunteer, and a piece of living history, appearing in two 1980’s documentaries, Silent Pioneers and Before Stonewall. I met Ms. Hampton after a showing of Before Stonewall, where she stated in front of everyone at the party: “I’m glad I’m a lesbian. I have nothing to regret. Not a thing. All these people run around going, ‘I’m not this, I’m not that.’ Being gay doesn’t bother me. If I had to do it over again, I’d do the same thing. I’d be a lesbian.”

Aries March 20 April 19 You know what you want out of life, and constantly express your convictions. Education, social work, or management is well suited for you because you’re passionate about compassion, have a “feel” for social responsibilities, and a persuasion to do something about them. Through your efforts, you raise the ideals of coworkers and everyone involved. Although not extravagant, you’re not good with savings or budgets. Taurus April 20 May 20 You have a gentle, respectable manner in how you work with people, and you consider everyone a source of inspiration rather than a competitor. You are sensitive to fellow employee’s appeals for help, but only when it is a sincere request and doesn’t involve a personal loan or infringe on your work responsibilities. You are growth oriented and enjoy assuming positions of power as long as no one is breathing down your neck.
Your respect for lessons of the past should serve you well. Gemini May 21 June 20 Although you have a rich insight, you need to start learning about what is real and what is fiction. You’re an easy target for a con game. Gemini’s aren’t great at math or science--not because you are slow but because you just don’t think that way. But employers know they can count on you to get a job done. Seek jobs that don’t require a lot of improvisation because you need all the structure you can get! Cancer June 21 July 22 Cancers are competent and precise with on the job responsibilities--never tardy, full of excuses, or overly needy. Because you never want to hear coworkers say that you didn’t try hard enough, you tend to overdo or go out of your way for approval. Biting off more than is necessary only hurts you, not anybody else. Just do what’s expected of you first; then lend a helping hand--but not your money! Leo July 23 August 22 Holding down a mundane job is a problem for the over achieving Leo’s born today. Much of what you do is about capitalizing on opportunities when they’re hot, always expecting a high yield for your efforts and enthusiasm. Brainstorming and making money grow come naturally for you--it may not be easy, but your inner spirit

is self-sufficient and always eager for economic improvement. You expect a reasonable return for your hard work. Virgo August 23 September 22 You are strong minded (and a bit demanding) on the job, always expressing your own priorities first, yet unafraid to make concessions, and negotiate where you cannot win. When confronted with an impending hurdle, you may find it hard to concentrate, and bolt to where the grass looks a shade greener and there are more folk to love you. Virgo’s usually want to make and keep lots of money and are known to marry “well”. Libra September 23 October 22 You are a tireless worker, have good concentration, and give every project your full attention. Libras are self-motivated and do what must be done before being told, and always go to great lengths to provide top notch service. You’re confident saying “no”, believe that you can accomplish almost anything, and are well suited for management positions or where you can work totally on your own. Scorpio October 23 November 21 You really try hard not to let others sidetrack you from a project at hand, but you have a tendency to let impatience get the best of you. And while you’re at it, aim to get a better grip over sarcasm and your temper! Although you’re a positive individual--more eccentric than egocentric--you have a tendency to ignore the needs of others. Sagittarius November 22 December 21 Everything that you obtain is a result of planning, and sensitivity to coworkers or what’s necessary. You treasure the many lessons of past experiences, and have a progressive but
February February15, 15,2013 2013
realistic outlook that eagerly embraces every day, and what it brings. You consider finances as a means to fulfill yourself, and an avenue to allow you to stimulate others to excel. Employers and coworkers know that they can trust you to get the job done well--and very well at that! Capricorn December 22 January 19 You are full of money making dreams and scheme (all legal, of course!) and are a good organizer, because you need to have everything your way, and move at your speed. Once hired, you work hard to achieve your objectives, and have a deep and honest business sense. Although you yearn for recognition, you are not driven by ambition. You believe that prosperity arrives as a result of careful planning and by keeping your cool. Aquarius January 20 February 18 When you have extra cash, you plan what to do with it quite carefully. You handle resources well and get the most out of what you have. Although you may not earn paychecks by writing, public relations, transportation, or communication fields, your interest in how others live is huge! You have a good mind and curious nature, always asking questions. Experience has taught you to be self-reliant, and although you may be a slow learner you never forget a thing! Pisces February 19 March 20 Even though it’s hard for you to admit, you don’t want coworkers to say that you didn’t try hard enough, so you’re apt to overdo. Biting off more than you can chew hurt, especially you, not them. You don’t consider yourself weak or a patsy, but always are on the lookout for approval. You’re competent and precise in your daily job responsibilities. Do what’s expected of you first; then lend your willing helping hand (but not your money).

Aries March 20 April 19
Gemini May 21 June 20
The good news: you usually know how far to extend yourself before becoming financially exhausted. Aries prosperity derives from ingenuity, time management, and bargain hunting. The challenging new: having unrealistic back up plans. Don’t try to be liked by everyone, or be a sucker for sob stories. Face it-- some coworkers are just plain lazy. Your sympathetic nature must be kept in check. Tend to your own business.
You have eager, eagle eyes for money, and enjoy it to the fullest! You have enormous drive and ambition and are impatient with anything that slows your pace. To many coworkers, your goals may seem unrealistic, but you keep tweaking and fine tuning lists and move forward with determination. It rarely occurs to you that you will fail. Your accomplishments are acclaimed and envied by many. Even when facing overwhelming odds, you assert yourself with confidence.
Taurus April 20 May 20 You believe that every benefit you obtain is a result of planning and your talents. You treasure the many lessons of past experiences, yet maintain a progressive and realistic outlook, eagerly embracing every day for what it brings. You view your career as a means to fulfill yourself, while stimulating others to excel. Employers and coworkers know that they can trust you to get the job done well--and very well, at that.
Cancer June 21 July 22 You learn quickly and keenly but have an inclination to overdo, overreact, or expect too much from yourself and coworkers. It’s hard for you to relax when projects need attention or a deadline looms. Compromise isn’t your best quality, even though you keep your cool. A diligent and hardworking employee, you’re always hopeful about personal financial victories. Leo July 23 August 22 The harder you work and the busier your working agenda is, the better you feel. You adapt to on the job emergencies very well, are a terrific trouble shooter, and have an intuitive “feel” about how to get people to work together. Your unique mix of social insight and group awareness ensure that, with discipline and determination, you will succeed in any career you choose. Even though you scrimp and save, you prove your generosity on every occasion.

Virgo August 23 September 22 You have a realistic, respectable rapport with coworkers, considering everyone a source for inspiration rather than a competitor. Because you are responsive to other’s needs, it’s easy for you to gain favor and recognition--or at least attention! You believe that everything can change for the better and are open-minded about “there’s always a better way to do something”. You’re comfortable in groups and take orders well. Because you don’t like being a harbinger of unwelcome news, you’re not well suited for executive positions. Libra September 23 October 22 You cover a large area first and fill in the details later. Unfortunately, you don’t have much discipline--easily sidetracked and always impatient with routine or detailed tasks. Even if your desk is messy, handwriting sloppy, and work is not done neatly, you remain hopeful for a rescue. You’re a languid dreamer, whose aim about financial matters shifts about with ease, following no particular rhyme or reasonable pattern. Scorpio October 23 November 21 Because you tend to underestimate your capabilities, you’re easily intimidated by strangers and can be taken advantage of without knowing. You try very hard to please coworkers. You must also remember that it’s impossible to be liked by everyone. It’s one thing to be accommodating, but being a doormat probably isn’t in your job description! Even though you’re always willing to lend a helping hand, you rarely lend money. Sagittarius November 22 December 21 Co-workers admire your excellent reasoning ability and keen judgment--your mind is never at rest. Even people whose opinions differ from

yours are quickly convinced by your arguments and detailed game plans. Saving money isn’t your strength, but being responsible is. You have a deep thirst for knowledge and an awesome ability to apply data quickly and intuitively, even though you have difficulty dealing with repetition and win-lose situations. Capricorn December 22 January 19 Gregarious and self-assured, you excel in occupations that involve logic, problem-solving, or helping the masses. Always bottom line and to the point, you like talking and brainstorming but aren’t well suited for jobs involving emotional or medical drama. You believe that the harder you work, the better the results and the greater the rewards. Choose a career that doesn’t lock you into routine, or glue you to a cubicle or a desk. Aquarius January 20 February 18 You have a rich imagination and spend lots of time daydreaming. Sometimes it’s difficult for you to be objective because your emotions influence your thinking so much. You’re not interested in science and math because they seem cold and unfeeling, and their careful logic is colorless and boring. Nonetheless, you handle finances fairly well, and get the most from money by using your wits. Pisces February 19 March 20 Your preoccupation with endless details and perfection causes you much stress. You labor over trifles, worry about unfair competition and overestimate what employers expect of you. Pisces always tell the truth--even if it’s long after the fact. Even though you’re a slow learner, you remember everything once it’s been experienced. You crave acknowledgment and recognition but secretly fear that you will succeed.
