COLLEGE SEAL
Standards for College Seal
The College seal is not a logo and is therefore reserved for special uses only.
The seal is not for use in advertising or other external publications and is not for use with vehicles. Other limited uses must be approved by TJC Marketing via the president’s office.
The College seal consists of a rope border, the Lone Star of Texas surrounded by a wreath of rose leaves, the name of the College and the year it was founded.
The College seal is the imprimatur of TJC and is authorized for use on official College academic documents such as: diplomas, certificates and awards. Documents displaying the seal denote official College sanction and require the approval of TJC Marketing.
The seal represents the legal identity of the College and must not be altered in any way. Changing the shape, words or color, or using one of its elements absent of others is prohibited. The seal should never be substituted for the TJC logo.
Logo Sizing
The recommended minimum reproduction size of the TJC seal is 1’’ in width. Reducing the seal further would compromise legibility and the integrity of the logo reproduction.
Safe Zones
This safe zone is intended to maintain the seal’s integrity and to avoid visual confusion. No other type or graphic element (including folds, trims or edges) should fall within the safe zone shown.
The safe zone on all sides of the seal is equal to the height and/or width of the outer band portion of the wordmark.
