EXPERIENCE JUDSON UNIVERSITY | ELGIN, IL Graduate Teaching Assistant [July 2016 - May 2017] Responsibilities: Worked as a TA for two classes: sophomore-level introduction to Architectural History and freshman-level Construction Technologies. Assisted in grading quizzes, tests, facilitated study session for tests and quizzes and teach classes for Architectural History. Assisted in grading homework assignments, construction models, and presentations during the semester. GMB ARCHITECTURE AND ENGINEERING | HOLLAND, MI Architectural Intern [July 2015 - June 2016] Responsibilities: Used BIM software to create Construction Documents and used network sharing with other disciplines in the office for coordination. Created graphic Bond Boards for schools in order to pass bond issues. Provided Construction Administration support on shop drawings and specifications for a few projects. Created graphical renderings to client review meetings. Provided field verification `on numerous projects and created Measured Drawings in Revit. D & C HOME IMPROVEMENT | KALAMAZOO, MI Contractor Laborer [May 2009 - August 2014] Responsibilities: Worked alongside contractor on a variety of jobs ranging from porches, roofs, interiors and garages. I assisted with all tasks on the job-site such as cutting, measuring, hanging, and constructing.
LYSTER EXTERIORS | KALAMAZOO, MI Roofing Laborer [May 2013 - August 2013] Responsibilities: Worked on a team of experienced roofers where I learned the in’s and out’s of roofing and the construction methods that go with in. I was tasked with roofing small portions of roofs with another skilled laborer. Any and all of the skills required to tear-off, patch and re-roof I was able to do by the end of the summer.

Inducted my junior year for excellence in education. Served as Secretary on the leadership team.
AWARDS ACADEMIC CHARTER AWARD | CONGRESS FOR THE NEW URBANISM - IL This is an annual award given to the top professional and student design solutions that create places people will love. It is graded on three scales anywhere from urban designs to buildings. The collaborative studio project I worked on this last semester was in Gowanus, Brooklyn. STUDENT MERIT AWARD | ASSOCIATION OF LICENSED ARCHITECTS The ALA presents this student award each year to the top preforming seniors from various schools around the Chicago-land area. I was lucky enough to be nominated and eventually given this prestigious award.
