TYRES & ACCESSORIES
HELLO AND WELCOME to the 2014 Tyres & Accessories media information pack. Print magazine products have to reaffirm their importance in the current market and Tyres & Accessories continues to evolve in that direction. We continue to present editorial designed to remain strongly relevant to tyre and wheel professionals through improved and evolving analytical content and design. Most obviously in 2013, we introduced a new masthead design for the magazine to coincide with the re-launch of our Tyrepress website in September. The T&A box is designed to unify our print and digital products, signifying the integrated news and analysis service we believe are offered by a print and digital package. The future of our B2B magazine and website are dependent on their ability to provide trade professionals with complementary and comprehensive news sources and targeted advertising platforms. In 2014 we will continue to evolve the service offered by the combined media through content and design. All our products are widely read in the UK, where T&A has the highest circulation in the trade at more than 7,000 copies. T&A is also shipped to subscribers worldwide, reflecting the global nature of our industry. It is the only tyre and wheel trade magazine in the UK that has its circulation independently audited by ABC, giving advertisers the assurance that their trust, advertisements and marketing spend have been well placed.

TYREPRESS.COM & e-NEWSLETTER
HELLO AND WELCOME to the digital side of our publication. Tyrepress was re-launched at the end of September 2013 with a new website engine improving the digital services we offer in a number of ways. It also improved our pan-European website offering, by integrating the English, German (Reifenpresse. de) and Italian (PneusNews.it) members of our group. Each site continues to be administered by its own editorial staff, but certain shared features allow for closer links between the sites, benefitting advertising customers and readers alike. New advertising options We have two major new advertising options and have provided a wider choice of conventional banner positions and sizes, supporting more than just JPG and GIF formats. With the largest amount of space available for a single advertisement, The new Tyrepress Wallpaper – large banners on each side of the website with your design – offers a premium service to clients. Interstitial advertisements allow clients to present a banner in a variety of formats as the page loads. The full range of options and sizes – many re-designed to meet IAB guidelines, making designers’ and agencies’ jobs easier – can be found on page 4.

In 2012-13 record numbers of visitors to Tyrepress have been accessing the site via tablets and smartphones, and with this trend continuing to grow the re-launched Tyrepress website will offer readers an improved user experience through responsive design. The chief benefit of responsive design will be to resize and rearrange elements of the site automatically to present it in a format better suited to smaller screens – whether this is a 10” iPad, a 7” Nexus 7 or a 4” smartphone – making it easier to read and navigate.
