Obituary Nina Louise Conner was born in Chicago, IL on October 16, 1968 at 4:25 p.m. To her parents, Russell Lee Conner Sr. and Sandra Lean Conner, she was a bundle of Joy and completed their family at the time. Nina grew up in Davenport, IA. Her parents got her involved with the church at an early age and throughout her life she remained an avid member of Westside Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed singing in the youth and later adult choirs. Nina was also involved with Bible Quiz and singing for fine arts competitions. She Graduated from West High school in Davenport, Iowa. Later she earned her Associates degree in Criminal Justice from The University of Phoenix. Nina founded the “High Nine� Sickle Cell awareness organization. Where she devoted her whole heart, attempting to bring awareness and funding to the cause. Though there were times when Nina could barely move, her determination was unwavering, not just for her organization but for life. Nina loved her friends and family. Her door was always open. She always lent a helping hand to anyone who needed it, without expecting anything in return. She loved to dance and had some of the prettiest hands that you would ever see. She was a true child of God with a spirit of an angel. Nina is survived by her parents Russell Lee Conner Sr. And Sandra Lean Conner of Davenport, IA, her children Zacquan Bourrage of Minneapolis, MN; Tatianya Conner ( Ashley Wells-Conner) of Minneapolis, MN; Sister: Ellie Culver, Brothers : Russell Conner Jr.; Joseph Lamar Conner ( Davenport, IA) and Isaac Lucas Conner( Davenport, IA) Grandchildren: Kaiel Bourrage; Aiyana Wells and Nayeli Bruguier.

Nina was preceded in death by her Grandmother Erma Wilcox.
