Committee Guidelines

GUIDELINES

Each committee has an event or goal that can be achieved by coordinating with your group’s staff liaison. The guidelines provide expectations for each committee member to help the UACPA move forward on our initiatives.

Committee Chairman

The committee chair will work with the UACPA staff liaison to make recommendations to achieve the desired objectives by the UACPA.

1. Coordinate committee meetings 2. Conduct meetings and establish agenda 3. Determine how the committee might assist in achieving objectives detailed in the UACPA’s strategic plan 4. Assign program activities to volunteers and monitor their activity 5. Report activity to executive board as needed

Committee Members

Attend meetings and participate in the planning and activities as outlined by the committee chair.

1. Provide insight and support the chair as they drive initiatives through the committee. 2. Implement action items and programs generated by committee 3. Participate in discussion of committee activities 4. Coordinate all meeting arrangements and share link or phone number for committee meeting 5. Provide committee activity report to the executive board 6. Maintain committee files and minutes

LEADERSHIP COUNCIL

Leadership Council guides the UACPA and brings together leaders to learn about topics facing the profession, exchange ideas and support each other. Twice a year, this group meets for a half-day event where members have the opportunity to network and earn CPE while empowering them as leaders in the profession.

Who is Leadership Council?

Leadership Council encompasses all leaders throughout the UACPA. This group includes board members, committee and chapter leadership, past presidents, campus ambassadors, educators and Leadership Academy alumni.
